  1. On the old threads, sometimes people are trying to respond to someone or ask a question of someone who posted 5 years ago. Also, ingredients, menus, etc might have changed. I think it's a great way to add a new bakery to a post about gluten-free food in Kansas City, for instance. Keeps all info about Kansas City in one place.
  2. Enjoyed watching Foxy and her 2 teenage fox kits in the backyards this morning. I know how she feels. They are big enough to want to go off on there own & do things but not quite ready to be completely self- sufficient. I can't put this on facebook because my neighbors are on my friends list. One of them doesn't care, one is convinced the fox will...
  3. Whole Foods probably does for Udis what Canyon Bakehouse told me they do for their bread. Canyon ships it frozen except to store in the Denver area ( in town). WF keeps it frozen & puts a few out on the shelf at a time. It thaws and you can eat it or put it back in the freezer. You can ask WF to get you a frozen one from the back ( at $6-7 I don...
  4. Open Original Shared Link Look down to the second page to see more tests. Maybe something from doctors who specialize in Celiac would help to show your doc. Highlight both sets of suggested tests. I had the pediatrician write the names of each test on the lab request sheet. I found that the standard "Celiac panel" was a bit out of date and missing...
  5. This thread is resurrected from 2008. It is for teens & young adults. If alcohol is what they want to talk about, I guess that's was Ok. Too late nowv.
  6. I was wondering about baking them for half the time & then freezing. Get one out and sprinkle with water, the salt and bake until done. That's how the gluten frozen pretzels do. Then you could finish cooking them during a party.
  7. I think the point was, if you know you have a wheat allergy (which the poster has) why bother? It's not that hard to eleminate barley & rye once you have eliminated wheat.
  8. You know, most if not all rye breads have wheat flour, too? But still probably not enough for the tests.
  9. Should have added - During regular work hours - like Monday - Friday 8m to 5 pm
  10. These sound great! I will have to try these. Its hard to have a gluten-free party with finger foods. These would be good to dip in cheddar fondue. Will have to try the fondue with Redbridge or Greens' or New Planet.
  11. If its a teaching hospital, you might get your Gi, allergy, etc consult right there in the ER.
  12. I messaged you about that.
  13. I found them at Hen House in the KC area. Where did you find the Snyders in the little bags? Its just me eating the pretzels so that would work well for me!
  14. Hi Patti! Nice to "see" you! Did anyone else notice that the girl on the bike is the only one on the whole video that would fit right in, style-wise, in 2011? Bell bottoms were always a disaster on a bike!
  15. Have her take this to the doc. She should highlight the name of the test because most doc don't have time to read the whole thing. Also, look around on that website. They have some good info. Open Original Shared Link
  16. Hey! That's my hub! Wait.... He is a few ( a lot) of years younger. But he does look a bit like my hub. Funny.
  17. Hey, Hon! I came to this late. I agree with everyone on the vitamin deficiency making her eat odd things. Is your house more than 35 years old ( approx)? The bottom layers of paint may contain lead if so. One more thing to bring up with doc. There is a spray to keep dogs from chewing on things called " bitter apple". Look at the ingredients but I...
  18. The Queen is much pleased!
  19. I googled it on the web. Looks like lots of complaints. I don't know why the GI just said your colon is a twisted mess. See what you can find out yourself? You haven't healed your small intestine? He won't help you any further? A "miracle cure" pill isn't what you need. You need a new GI who knows what Celiac is.
  20. Queen of Broken Hearts - Lover boy
  21. That's how I ride a bike. I get off & push it up hill, then get on & glide downhill.
  22. I used the Google search at the top right corner. Once I spelled vegetarian correctly, lots of past post showed up.
  23. Just to let you know, you are responding to a post that is over 5 years old. Many of these posters do not come on here anymore to read the posts.
  24. I'm loving the Queen references. God Save the Queen - Sexx Pistols
  25. Dancing Machine - The Jackson Five
