  1. Ooooo, that's bad. I wish I could blah blah blah her !
  2. Bob- Have you been able to identify any contributing factors or causes for your anxiety? Years ago I had a bout of panic attacks, brought on my a serious health incident. I did biofeedback and was able to work on controlling the attacks and they totally went away... Just a thought. Perhaps you've already looked into this...
  3. "Gosh, that Jillian girl, she must be on one of those "low carb" diets..."
  4. Hmm, I was there several weeks ago, and they had just reopened that day. They told me they were going to get gluten-free bread, but didn't have any at the time...so I'd call and ck first. They had some meat, omelettes, fries...that is what I can remember off the top of my head. I stayed just down the street from there. Unfortunately that was the only...

Ha ha! It would "get" my attention I'll ck that site out! Oh--the magnets were my favorite: http://www.statesman.com/getit/content/get.../magnetslrg.webp
  6. Pming you
  7. Good advice on the IV perhaps... Maybe that would be the better option for now. Make sure you ask doc about it. Oh Judy my friend...I wish I could come and sit with you for a while to talk and give your mind and worried heart a rest for a bit... How disappointing, to miss out on things b/c of being sick again. You carry so much. But I will keep praying...
  8. Shelly- Well, everything is normal! The body is a curious thing ! Glad the meds are helping. I guess you can continue to pursue other causes. If I come across anything, I'll let you know... Glad you slept

Nicole-- That's good news! Stick with it and keep him accountable...meaning, make sure he keeps "getting it" and caring for you well. Oh--and I don't mean "getting it" like sex--but in understanding you and the situation
  10. Also--great "bone builders" are exercise, walking and weight-lifting. My mom raised her levels back to normal (from osteopenia) with walking and weight-bearing exercise. She did not take any medications.
  11. Did you move?
  12. Yeah, my family and I are laughing about "a small amount" of food... What does that mean?? We'll see on Sunday!
  13. That is hard to know...as far as what restaurants carry. They may order from a distributor and may not have or give you the ingredients to check. Some restaurants could either 1. Have verified certain dressings are gluten-free or 2. Make their own in house and can verify ingredients (and you can determine whether its safe or not) However, you won't get...
  14. That's natural--but look forward to it! They may have some good local tips you might have missed. Or it may just be good to sit face to face with some folks who can empathize with what you experience. Or even better--maybe you can offer some help to a new Celiac there...
  15. Stacie- An IBS diagnosis, GI issues and elevated liver enzymes are all commonly found in Celiacs...so I'd say it would definitely be worth getting tested. However, what tested did they initially run on you, did they do a biopsy with the endoscopy?
  16. TCA- Wow...so much to handle. I will be praying for you. I'm sure it is so hard to watch your daughter suffer like this...
  17. Great--hope you like it as much as I!
  18. Open Original Shared Link Just wanted to pass on that I bought a bottle of the spray whipcream made from soy, SoyaToo. It is gluten-free (I checked) and dairy-free. I miss my Redwhip--so was curious to try this. It tastes really good and has great rediwhip texture. I would recommend to those who are gluten-free/cf. I bought mine at Wild Oat's.
  19. Ha! I was talking to dh last night about wanting to make some buckeyes!
  20. Are you saying that you have been on a gluten-free/cf diet for over 3 months? If that is true than you can not trust your test results...after even a small amount of time on a gluten-free diet they can become pretty skewed.
  21. I have never heard anything about the bar of soap...placebo effect perhaps? Let us know what the iron tests show...I still think this is one of the top causes of RLS. And a better solution than having to go on meds...but it that is the only option...sleep is a must! Let us know...
  22. Tiffany-- I figured it was just the grain, so that is what I used that night. It was really great! I ended up cooking mine for about an hour. The flavor and texture was really good...dh loved it and my dad asked me to make him a big batch and freeze it for him for later I used italian chicken sausage...favorite in our house. Thanks!
  23. I have not read the book you mentioned. I will say one of the best and most popular, esp here, is Wheat Free, Worry Free by Danna Korn. Great resource. It takes some time to figure out the shopping. This lists definitely help and will train you what to look for when trying to see if a food is safe or not: https://www.celiac.com/st_main.html?p_catid...
  24. We also prefer costco. They do have great benefits and pay, but we feel they carry products that are a step higher than Sam's club in quality. Not meaning to offend anyone on that statement! We don't usually buy generic, but have bought the Kirkland (costco brand) of products several times and each one has been great. We primarily buy our toliet paper...
  25. Oh Rachel...hope you feel better very very soon...
