I agree with tarnalberry , you may want to ditch the processed foods (at least for now) and go with just whole foods. Since your daughter just went gluten free in March she may be still going thru withdraw OR Her symptoms may still be from when she was eating gluten . Yes , most GP's do not have enough understanding about thyroid issues to be helpful. Finding an excellent endocrinologist is important anyone with thyroid issues . Nope. As bartfull said, I eat mostly whole foods. If I can not look at it and tell you it is or exactly what is in it , I do not eat it. There are exceptions to that ( of course ) canned tuna, mustard, tea bags ,ground coffee ,but I do not eat pre made breads , pasta ect.. -

find a different endocrinologist , one that will treat you not JUST read the numbers, one that will actually listen to what you and your body are saying . Every one is different , your' normal' is not the same as my 'normal'. -
