  3. Congrats!! and yes, just hang in there...I saw more results in symptom resolution (plus more hair regrowth) after 20 months. Best wishes and stay the course.
  4. We saw it was delayed. Daytona is @150 miles north of us. We had 83 and sunny today, but rain is coming this week and a lower average temp. (like maybe 76 ?? lol) The hubs rarely makes any requests and he was craving corned beef and cabbage. (I have no luck eating preserved meats like that, but...) I love and humor him and he put up mirrors, art work...

  6. That's a good poop color! no worries. The advice offered by my pal Gemini earlier in the thread is exactly what I was going to write (and I love when she comes on before me because then I can just say this) Yeah! what she said.
  7. Funny man, that R. J knows better than to do that and risk irritating me in front of guests.........because if I am mad, he 's not getting any food. I mean food. ( Now I have to go into the corner.) Before I forget, we're having chicken tonight (rotisserie--quick and easy) because I am unpacking box after box after box after.....
  8. You're both juveniles. both of you, right now.....go sit in the corner...with your backs to us until I call you for dinner. Karennnnnnn! I have made this raspberry coulis before BUT YOU could easily use strawberries too. It is ridic drizzled over white chocolate pudding. 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons water 1 lb fresh raspberries or 1 ...
  9. I hope you followed this advice because it's really all you can do. Hope you are okay this morning. Worrying always makes things worse in my experience (about anything in life) and the anticipation of 'what may occur" is often a useless waste of energy. So what candy are we talking about...so we can all know, just in case?
  10. yes!! this...., I meant to say pound or sponge cake. It will hold up much better. So glad you guys are here to help me say things. lol I am saying things and not being very clear the past few days. Saying "thinger" and "whatchamacallit"... not very articulate. I am afraid I have been glutened (hair falling out, bowel stuff, joints screaming) and that is...
  11. Your wife is one smart cookie! And yes, I have cleverly designed that thread as an excuse for us to get "bright new super shiny" stuff. It's all a clever ploy. (which I have just revealed....)
  12. I have a few dinner ideas in the Newbie 101 thread. (in the coping section) most any recipe can be adapted to gluten-free. Good for you for cooking for your wife. She's a lucky girl. #awesome hubs!
  13. aha....I see--you want me there to work...! LOL Really, though.....Imagine how much fun we would have! (and you know I'd help you out big time. Just give me some booze and some counter space)

  17. Isn't the King Arthur gluten-free white cake mix supposed to be good? or the Namaste? I don't know, Just spit ballin here with you. and yes on the cream--it should be stiff for a few hours.... (no laughing, Arlene, you little whacko)
  18. I scrub, poke holes, and nuke for a few mins. Slice with a mandoline or use a sharp chef's knife and watch your hands! LOL Toss in garlic infused olive oil, lots of celtic sea salt & cracked pepper. Those cabinets you see in the pics are deceiving, Seriously, I have about 10 boxes to go and I honestly ran out of space. Dip parties sound...

  22. Now that I have located my good pans in the pile of boxes and I have some food in the fridge, I can cook properly. whooohoo! Sunday was a roasted turkey breast, sweet potato fries with a tarragon mayo and broccoli. Monday was pork tenderloin with fig glaze, roasted root veggies and cinnamon applesauce. Tuesday was herbed chicken, sauteed baby yukon...
  23. My sister somehow found them in Arlington, Mass. (must be near one of the test markets) and gave them to my G F mom. She said "they're good with tea". They made her happy. She did not elaborate on how good, but if they passed her test, they must be pretty good.
