That would be awesome! and then, we should also get kickbacks from Nuts.com, Culturelle, Country Life vitamins, Enjoy Life Chips, etc.....that some of us rave about, but then , it would be a serious conflict of interest...and then, we could not post here anymore and then, we would be sad. ...and we can't have sadness, because well, that's no fun..   5. I love love love my USA bread pan and the pizza pan, too! Good recipes + good pans = good food. That's the extent of my math capabilities. The End.
  6. That pizza crust is just delicious, Sylvia! Tonight, we're having chicken thighs--not sure how I will prepare them yet, but I made Risotto Milanese last night (instead of sweet potatoes) and that encore should be tasty. And some sauteed baby spinach. The bacon jam, spread on buttered Bette Hagman's 4 flour bread(makes crazy- good toast)--just wickedly...
  7. Ditto! I made bread yesterday, too so we slathered some on --very tasty!! and yes, I was very disappointed the recipe only yielded 2 cups.( It says yields 3. cups--nope ) Next time, double or triple batch...and bourbon! I'm gonna need a bigger slow cooker.....

  10. Thanks, Ski xxo As it so happens, I am also making Bacon Jam today!! I have had that recipe printed off for months and now, it is time. I am using the slow cooker. Why? because I am lazy. Later, we will be having Beef Filets Roasted sweet potatoes and some other veggie as yet to be determined. I still have to bake bread, too...

  12. That's me right now. zzzzz NYC was fab. I'm exhausted.... and it was totally worth it to go and revive our anniversary tradition. I walked for miles, SKI--and I am none the worse for wear. Rockettes, Santa, tons of people--what's not to like? I went in St. Patrick's and said some prayers of thanks that we "came out the other side" of these past crazy...

I am making white pizza for the hubs and we used Bette Hagman's recipe (thank you Sylvia) I turned her onto the bread, she turned me onto the pizza dough. Cool.   21. This is what my sibs and I always called them...smashed. Pork tenderloin with roasted shallots and a pinot noir sauce. Glazed baby carrots Homemade applesauce for the hubs. Supposed to be in the 50s and 60s this week in the Great Northeast..I'll believe it when I see it. Yesterday, it was so cold...(19) even the cat balking at going...
  22. Butterscotch pie.....oh wow!!....(drooling...) I LOVE butterscotch. We are having "encores".. of the bison stuffed peppers tonight. But getting no complaints, so that's good. We also had a big lunch--something called a "Breakfast Scramble" It involves eggs, cheese, sauteed peppers, onions, mushrooms, home fries, and......wait for it........bacon...
  23. yum....that sounds De-lish, Alex! Another example of a daughter showing her mom "she knows her stuff" and just like Bac-on!!...you cannot go wrong with butter (IMHO) and I am a huge fan of Irish Kerrygold.
