  1. As a symptom? No. Not me. However, i have noticed that i have more blood sugar issues now after going gluten free. If i don't eat within a certain time period, then i start getting the jitters, which goes into the shakes, and a general feeling of icky-ness. Once i eat something, it'll go away, but still, its not fun.
  2. It could be a cc issue. Its been known to happen Hope you start feeling better. I read somewhere that honey helps to heal them.
  3. Didn't the top researcher (or someone) for celiac do this guideline: If you have 4 out of the 5, then you have celiac: Symptoms on gluten diet Symptoms resolve off gluten diet (positive response) Positive blood test Positive genetic test Positive Biopsy I could be wrong...
  4. Generally when stuff is injected it is a solution to keep the meat red. So in ground meat, sage oil is probably used. I cannot eat the ground meat in regular stores because of it. It gives me such a bad stomach ache. Your cuts like roasts and whatnot, should not have stuff injected in them from my understanding. Or, you could do what i do and go to...
  5. Chances are that your anxiety might decrease due to the removal of gluten. Poke around on the forum some more, there is a lot of good information here.
  6. Just because a person has the gene(s) doesn't mean that they will develop celiac.
  7. Eeeek, i'm at like 6800 or something. I miss cooking at sea level, or at the very least below the high altitude requirements. Yay!
  8. Is it really....? Hmmmm.... As did I. I miss it a bit. No idea what i'm doing for dinner. I just finished a 10 page paper that i had to rush to turn in (with 30 minutes to spare). Its gonna rain again...
  9. For a celiac, its not safe, no. However, for someone who is avoiding wheat for other reasons and doesn't need to worry about cc, then its fine.
  10. What do you normally eat for breakfast? Is coffee an issue for you?
  11. custard? homemade mayo? this? Open Original Shared Link
  12. There is a full panel of tests for celiac. Looks like you only got the IGA TTG (i'm assuming thats what the Tga is) and a total IGA. However, a negative number for it? Not sure about that.
  13. I'm a fan of the vanicream line. There is this sunscreen from them: Open Original Shared Link
  14. I cannot believe how much its been raining this week. I'm enjoying it, but i got soaked again. Leftovers for me along with the last part of that cake
  15. Yes, NCGI (non celiac gluten intolerance) can have many of the same symptoms and severity as Celiac without the autoimmune response.
  16. I'm interested. Depends on whats in it though.
  17. Sounds like you got cc'd pretty bad. I wouldn't eat at fast food places even though they have 'gluten free' items. Too much risk... Some experience nerological symptoms when cc'd by gluten.
  18. Ah, well. Open Original Shared Link Those are the basic laws of genetic inheritance. To answer the question: Yes, a child can get it if both parents do not have it (if they are carriers of the genes). Please remember that about 30% of the population (i believe in the US) carry the genes, but do not have celiac. So just because a child is related...
  19. Honestly, I don't remember what brand mine is. I think it was a basic model. It did come with different heads though.
  20. A water pick helps when your mouth is sensitive. It acts quite a bit like floss does. I used one a lot when i had my braces. I thought that might help ya a bit if your sore
  21. You could just be intolerant to them.
  22. Yes, it could.
  23. That's how i was when i went through braces and all the stuff that goes with it. It would go from the hurts to much to chew stage to oh its not so bad stage. Ditto on the jaw pain. On a dinner related note, i think i got something on one of the stoves burners. Pew it sure stunk the room up.
  24. You could haved developed an additional intolerence.
