  1. Yes, getting better. Monday was pretty normal, yesterday better, today I worked out with my trainer and didn't die. So far no nausea or d. Still waiting to start back my supplaments. Big chicken.
  2. May not be that. I had a "relapse" of sorts after my bug. It hit me really hard after taking supplaments - vitamins, even digestive enzymrs, probiotics - same brand and bottle I'd been using. It was awful. It's over 2weeks now and I'm just hitting "normal". And who knows how long that will last.
  3. Well, more progress. No nausea and had a day if something resembling "normal" potty habits. Managed to clean house a bit and run myself ragged trying to do 100 things I haven't done for two weeks. Tomorrow is the true test - appointment with the personal trainer. Here's to hoping I don't have to rush to the ladies room. I so wish I knew if this was...
  4. There are equal numbers of contradictory studies that day if you are high rt3 and showing t3 resistance it inhibits it. As does exercise. As does a low carb/paleo diet. As does low d and iron. I want to scream.
  5. Here are links to other threads:
  6. Products change, so you always need to read labels. It seems beauty products change more than food products, but that's my personal observation. As far as a study regarding beauty products and gluten and Celiac I dont know of one. I think the presumption that a beauty product WON'T be ingested is silly. Anything that gets on your hands - lotion, or...
  7. I suggest cooking stuff like stews and freezing in individual bags. Put a cooler in your room and have someone heat it up for you in a micro. Much safer and you won't stress.
  8. I spoke too soon. Had a bout of it and nausea this afternoon. One is better than three, I guess.
  9. So, improving. Yesterday only 1 bathroom visit after meals. Today, no visit after breakfast! I have hope.
  10. In case anyone is wondering, it isn't the ORANGE labeled salted and creamy.... It's the more retro label. The product code can be found on the barcode.
  11. I haven't heard of either one, so thanks for posting! I assume your student is knowledgeable about how to screen her food, and can tell you any addition sensitivities she has. I think it's fabulous you're helping her find good, safe food on the road.
  12. For me it's a combo of extra strength Tylenol (used to be ibuprofin but afraid to take it because of DH), to get through the day and antihistimine (Claritin) and then a dark quiet room ASAP and preferably sleep. Sometimes it takes 2 days to go away completely. Mine se to be triggered by light/sound and bad seasonal allergies. They are much much less now...
  13. Or, since only certain brands/products have been found to have elevated levels, so far, just avoid them? Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Makes me happy I like and can eat corn/quinoa pasta....and am low/ish grain, though rice is probably one of my top grains. And as far as arsenic in water, I do have an r/o system which helps...
  14. I'm ok with the boxed stuff...but the BAGS of flour just leak everywhere. Like in this instance.
  15. Did you order celiac tests along with the alletgy tests?
  16. So I looked it up and I've diagnosed myself with bacterial IBS. Yeah, that's where I'm at at 10:30 pm in Friday night... I lead an exciting life.
  17. It can be both. No gluten ingredients but made on a shared line. It's up to you to figure out if shared lines are okay for you.
  18. Oh, I hope your daughter improves quickly! I'm sorry to hear she's having problems again. Great job lying, Mama. .
  19. I'd be interested to know how one could accurately test it, since a needle must go through the shell...you get my point. I'd think the point is that it would get contaminated by touching the outside of the shell...unless you wash with soap??? Then you'd need to test the shell.... How bout just don't boil it in gluteny or cc water? I bet...
  20. Again, I shop there all the time and will keep asking. They have a huge natural foods and gluten-free section. I've always wondered why it isn't THERE. I only spotted it in the regular section by accident. First time I've seen flour spilled like that, at this store. It is usually very clean.
  21. I told him how to clean them - soap, water, paper towel. Who knows. I shop here all the time. I won't quit.
  22. Okay, just had a mild freak out. Grabbed a box of KA flour and the bottom was caked in whole wheat flour (sitting next to KA whole wheat flour on shelf). I'm not one to freak over that stuff usually but I grabbed a poor manager and told him why that can't happen, where it should go...and was doing this with a clump of whole wheat flour stuck to my thumb...
  23. Ice packs if she'll do them...helps with the itching. Steroids are a mixed bag - it brings down inflammation but can impair healing. When she goes off them it WILL flare. Some people use benzocaine ointment to numb them.
  24. I think the nausea was from the pills - primarily iron. I must admit I think my digestive enzymes were giving me problems, though, which is weird since I've been on them for years and they are definitely gluten-free.
  25. Mmmmmm Haagen Dazs!!!! Yep, love it, especially the 5 ingredient ones.
