    ARCHIVED Dr. Mercola

I get his newsletter and it is great. I too want to explore the EFT process. His diet is called Metobolic typing. Based on what he believes to be your type, you are recommended to eat a certain way. Either lots of protien (animal) and no grains, mixed or lots of grains. I did a little questionarre that said I am a protein type. I am sure we all are. The...
  2. Hi, I have read Georgie's stuff. I believe she said anything above 2 should be considered hypo. Also you need to get the Thyoid Peroxidase antibody test. This will show if your body is making antibodies against your thyroid. This is called Hashimotos hypothyroidism. This test is the only thing that showed I had a thryoid issue. The tests you got are...
  3. There are other links on this site about how thyroid and adrenal fatigue can cause the pain. Are you taking Synthroid? If so, you should look into taking Armour. Get your adrenals tested.
  4. I felt terrible after eating the mini packs of m+m's. Maybe too much sugar?

    ARCHIVED Brit In Fl!

I am going there in Feb. I found out there is a Whole foods market one exit north of Orlando in Winter Park. Also there should be a Outback steakhouse, Carabbas, and PF Changs in the area. They all have gluten free menus. Whole Foods has a big deli/restaurant in there store. Their items are labeled clearly with all ingredients.
  6. I second Georgie. The only test that showed my hypo was the thyroid peroxidase antibodies.
  7. Stonyfield farms frozen yogurt, vanilla, chocolate and cofee are ok. Also Cold stone creamery has an allergen list. It is a chain.
  8. I started having MCS several months before going gluten free. Gluten free did not help at all. My sensitivity seems to vary weekly. I get brain fog, sore throat, chill, fever depending how long I am exposed. My worst exposure put me in bed for 2 days. Usually I just get away from whatever the smell is as quickly as possible. I can relate to the work thing...
  9. I have been using Kiss My Face. The ingredients seem ok. Does anyone know if it is definitley gluten free?
  10. Which PF changs? The Boston one now has a dedicated part of their kitchen. Sorry that happened. I always felt so secure there.
  11. When I went to Outback they told me that it was some kind of premix stuff they added. They brought it to me and it add some weird questionable ingredients. I didn't even think it was gluten free.
  12. Yes I know that, I was just passing along what I knew.
  13. No, but planning to soon. How was it?

  16. I did not know that about wheat starch. Anyway I wouln't touch it anyway. Whole foods did have it labeled gluten free with a sign. It says gluten free on the box, but not wheat free.
  17. Last year when I checked on Trader's gluten free list they were on them. But, I would re-check. The store should have a list of all their gluten free products.
  18. They are in Marlboro Vermont near the Vermont/Mass. line. They are going to be opening a bakery locally in Brattleboro. I have already seen their bagels in Mass at a co-op. They must have a web sight.
  19. I found out that the popcorn and the ice cream served in Disneyworld is gluten free. There is also a place in MGM that has gluten free pizza. Type in gluten free dining on the web and you will find some good info.
  20. Thanks, I am going in February!!
  21. There is a new company in Vermont called Against the Grain. I have not tried it yet, but there bagels look big and crusty like the real thing. It would be cool to support a small business like this.
  22. Last night I was at a Boston area Whole Foods. They have new gluten free cookies by a company called Herrons (I think). Anyway they had chocolate chip and ginger spice. The front of the box said gluten free and suitable for Vegetarians and celiacs. So, I turned the box over and started reading ingredients. Guess what the first ingrediant was?? Wheat Starch...
  23. All I know is that the name brand drug is gluten free.
  24. They help a lot with bloating and stomach pain for me. They only work for me if I take them at the beginning of a meal.
  25. I thought that greens mixes with wheat and barley grass were ok, since there is no gluten in the grasses?? That is the info I have read. Could someone clarify??
