  1. It's an Italian restaurant in NYC. They don't have their gluten-free menu online, but trust me when I tell you it's incredible. Valdo the maitre'd had e-mailed me a copy of it when we made our reservation. Open Original Shared Link
  2. German and Russian.
  3. I love the breadsticks there. When I go there with one of my non-gluten-free friends the both of us sit there devouring those. You have to try the fudgy next time; right Stef and Lauren?!!!
  4. We went to Lumi last night for dinner, which is part of the gluten free restaurant program. For those that live in NY or anyone who plans on visiting this is a must go to. The food was incredible!!! I was debating whether to get the pasta because I've ordered gluten-free pasta in some of the restaurants that offer it and it wasn't very good. I didn't really...
  5. I was doing errands yesterday afternoon and decided I needed a snack. I ran into Mrs. Greens to get my favorite sesame pretzel rings from Ener G, but ofcourse I left the store $35 later with clearly more than pretzels (in my defense some was for my brother). I decided to try the Glutino Chocolate covered vanilla wafers (I think they're new). I barely...
  6. They're pre-made roast chicken is not. The other night I got home from work and had to run to Sam's Club to develop pictures. I was starving so I figured I'd just get one of the pre-made roast chickens. Well I can't tell you how bummed I was when I saw it was rubbed with wheat flour. Who the heck rubs a chicken with wheat flour -grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Atleast...
  7. It was me that had inquired about the duck sauce. I'm still not 110% sure if all duck sauce is gluten-free, but from the research I did it seems that it is.
  8. My GI had told me that there was the potential that I could be lactose intolerant intially until my villi heal but never said anything to me about being dairy free aswell. To be honest I didn't really like this GI and am in the process of finding a new one. I find dairy does bother me sometimes but if it's not hurting the healing process than I don't think...
  9. Ok I got this response back from Loew's. Their popcorn and butter topping is infact gluten-free. Enjoy!! We do buy all of our popcorn from Weaver as does Pop Secret. The popping oil is canola oil (coconut oil in CA and TX) and the topping oils are a soy-based product and are both wheat free and gluten free. Thank you again for contacting...
  10. One of the women from the view does. Not sure which one as I don't watch it.
  11. Carrie I just sent you an e-mail : )
  12. I feel your pain. This was the only salad dressing I liked. This was after years of searching for the perfect ginger dressing. I used to eat this stuff on everything. It was probably the thing I mourned not being able to have anymore more than anything else. But like Patti said, it's off limits. This is an all or nothing lifestyle. You can't pick and choose...
  13. I'd love a copy. Thanks. jilliank@gmail.com
  14. Hey Renee - I just found this link that I had. Happy New Year's!!! Open Original Shared Link
  15. My husband works in Bohemia and a lot of my friends/roomates in college were from Ronkonkoma. We live in Westchester and I work in the city but I've been dying to go to Mama's for their gluten-free menu. We went to Pace's Steakhouse in Happague for his work Christmas party and they were so great about making sure everything was safe for me. If you are...
  16. As far as I know Malibu is gluten-free (but not 100% so you might want to double check that). As for vodka Smirnoff and Ketel One are gluten-free. I'm sure there are others but I basically stick to Ketel One.
  17. OMG... can they put her stuff in the Whole Foods stores in NY?!!!!
  18. I haven't had them before but I've heard they're amazing and once I got the coupon in the mail that was all the push I needed to order them!! I'm gonna order the challah also. My assistant ordered me the brownies from there for my birthday and they were amazing!
  19. Yummmy!! Would you mind posting the recipe for the gingerbread men?
  20. Absolutely!!! I'll even help move. I just don't do painting : )
  21. I was actually gonna order the cinammon buns today. I wanted to get them last week but with the transit strike I didn't think it would be that feasible for them to deliver my order.
  22. I made them to bring to DH's Christmas Eve and no one knew they were gluten free!!!! I was so excited.
  23. Hot tea and white rice. (G-d that sounds depressing - lol). I also kinda like Glutino sesame seed bagels toasted with vegetable cream cheese (again with my hot tea); but not until some of the pain subsides.
  24. Hey Stefi - Did you go to the ones in White Plains across from The Westchester?!!! I went to that PF Changs last weekend. Love it!!
  25. I want to go to the movies today and I was wondering if anyone knows if the popcorn (and butter flavoring) are safe to eat at the Lowe's movie theaters. TIA and Merry Christmas and a Happy Chanukah.
