  1. I think you may be in denial. Those foods, even if they make you feel good, are not useful for your gut right now! You are constantly posting that you feel like crap but don't seem to want to follow advice! I think you should stick to very simple meals with no spices added. You could have had just the Chicken and and carrots. If you think oatmeal is...
  2. Just curious, I have read many of your posts and you seem to be having many issues with your gut. You said you "pound the Pepto" and your sick and on the couch recovering alot. Do you think it might be the foods your eating? If I ate what you had last night I would be sick as a dog all the time too. If your gut does not heal, you will stay sick and most...
  3. This test is still in the trial phase. It could still be over a year away. I wouldn't recommend waiting for it to become available. Hopefully it will help many get diagnosed in the future. Colleen
  4. So good to hear. You will find that things you didn't even know were wrong get better. I had some immediate symptom relief too. It really hammers in the need for a strict gf diet. My brain fog took longer, about 1 year or so to leave completely. At over 2 years gf I keep feeling better. You will also notice that if you do get glutened, all this stuff...
  5. Hi Cookies... and Welcome to the Forum. Iron Deficiency/Anemia is very common to undiagnosed Celiacs. I agree with your Doctor that running would not cause this. Some Celiacs have no symptoms, very few symptoms, or a boat load of symptoms. Depression at any level is also associated with Celiac. Here is a list of symptoms. Open Original Shared...
  6. Hi SMRI. I take it you haven't visited the Newbie 101 Thread? It's under the Coping Section. READ...lol and read all the links too. The thread goes through what you have to do in the beginning, procedures, tips...etc. Welcome to the Forum! And good seeing you on the Dinner Thread Colleen
  7. Hi Dan. Itching, sinus, throat, yawning, sneezing...these can be caused by Histamine overload. There is a few threads here about Histamines. Search for MCAD / MCAS. It's just a thought but it could fit. Some of us have to watch our histamines. Colleen
  8. Chex has a gluten free oatmeal now. Colleen
  9. Addy is correct. And also, if you have a renewable script, check to make sure the Pharmacy did not get it from a different supplier. If they did, you have to check again. You can always request the supplier stay the same but it doesn't always mean that they will do it co check every time. Colleen
  10. Yup, Sounds like an allergy to me too. Here's a link providing information for a gluten challenge. Open Original Shared Link Colleen
  11. I'm so glad your excited. I was too. I was so happy that there was finally something I could control about my health. So many things improved for me! I feel much stronger to fight the things I can't control. Ir's a good feeling. While your at the store, pick up a brownie mix. Bob's Red Mill and Betty Crocker ones are awesome. They are better than...
  12. Thanks for the update.
  13. Yes, there are many of us here that have a month or more recovery time. Its why we don't get glutened nearly as the majority of Celiacs. IMHO of course. Colleen
  14. I do to an extent. The basics like what meat to have and the vegetables with it. Our very own "Irish Heart" plans an impressive menu every week. Look on the "What's for Dinner" thread and see what we all are eating. You will see Irish's menu's on there too. Colleen
  15. If you can't find it. I never have, Give Udi's a try. They are very good and have White, Multigrain, Cinnamon Raisin, Bagels, and Their muffins are devine. I also prefer rice noodles over corn. They keep their integrity better. Also try Shar Ciabatta Rolls. Just remember to read every label every time. And don't limit yourself to a product that...
  16. I hear ya. If my Oncologist says says I need a test, I ask how soon can I get it... By the way, if you want to get off the Seroquel, try Trazadone. It's easier on the Liver without side effects. Seroquel WILL make you feel drugged and tired through the day. The hangover of it is rough. Colleen
  17. I love the garlic one too. It's the only kind I buy now Colleen
  18. Hopefully i'ts not DH at all. Very many rashes are common with AI Diseases. Heck they're common in every one...lol. Good luck on your Challenge! Colleen
  19. That's a bummer. You know, your sleep may improve with the new diet. Mine didn't but, others did. Colleen
  20. Go ahead and post it as a New Topic. If someone isn't interested in Fibro, they won't see it to comment. Colleen
  21. Isn't Liquid Gold a furniture polish? Umm. Interesting X-Mas gift
  22. Also you said "glutened the last three days". It may have been something else you ate on Day one since gluten reactions can last for up to a month. Of course, this is only if you have Celiac. I am not sure of length of reactions due to NCGI. Colleen
  23. Awesome Stephanie. Your son looks very happy. and the pic with Dr. Fasano, The Celiac God, is awesome. Colleen
  24. Glad your feeling better. Colleen
