  1. So, it looks to me like someone is letting their left brain do all the hard work like m+-*$, while their right brain gets to go out and have all the fun. Just wanted to check with our queen if that incurs any sort of tax? Oh, no, wait - who could calculate the tax then?
  2. Thank goodness for that. I was getting too nervous to post. The prospect of being queen and that much responsibility - skeery
  3. Now I have my conscience and my consciousness all mixed up. My dyslexia is having a feeled day. I wonder if we could get this problem added to the U of Chicago list of 300 symptoms. Do you think this is likely to be a long term issue?
  4. IH That's so helpful. Will print out and take to my doctor when I discuss my recent biopsies Thanks (again) Mw
  5. squirmingitch That is really helpful info, great stuff. Glad to see it ties up with what I was told, I have been getting a bit paranoid and confused!! Thanks for sharing
  6. Guidance in the UK is 6 weeks gluten challenge, with at least one gluten full meal a day e.g. based mainly on pasta. My doctor tested me after one week then the lab lost my results. But that is another story. I think I would say stay on gluten if you haven't already come off, but not sure it is always good to go back on to challenge. I guess it...
  7. Now I'm skeered. Maybe it is the time difference. Or hormones. Ribbit
  8. Wooo!!!!! If no one can remember, maybe we could all join in a conga?
  9. Sorry, smartphone not so smart apparently...
  10. Just remodeled my front lawn from a rectangle to a beautiful curve, by eye. Think my right brain had lovely time. Been meaning to do it for weeks, but I think my left brain looking for a skipping rope to lay out the shape before chopping up the lawn was being overuled by the right. Thanks Vynnnnsendt for releasing my right brain, look out world
  11. No, but I will now. Sounds like perfect breakfast to me. Mmm
  12. I am more of a D girl, so weeding unnecessary here, luckily. Well except during the 3 weeks I managed of my gluten challenge. Then it was a handful of dried apricots. Similar to prunes I suppose. Might be interesting to watch the neighbours gardening though...
  13. mushroom Especially not with a husband who hates sprouts. Mw x
  14. Just off to make pork and leek casserole maybe with parsnips. Tempted to sneak in Brussel sprouts and swede (do you call it that?) But know I wouldn't get away with it.
  15. Oh no. I must never tell either of them what someone halfway round the world is thinking about them...
  16. I've got a 5 year old that can remember pretty much every dinosaur, which period it comes from the predators and prey and where they were found. However - lunchbox sweatshirt coat bookbag every day - no chance. I'd agree that it would be more likely to be gluten if it is an occasional or intermittent thing (though he doesn't have celiac. Well maybe...
  17. Glad to hear your frogginess is hopping off. Great news about getting almonds back. I can eat them, but my son is anaphylactic allergic, so I can only have them away from home on my own. Roll on my November nut fest. I can't tell you what a joy trying to to gluten free nut free is in the uk (not!!!)
  18. I was right 12 left 7. But mostly I wanted to answer yes to both answers on most questions. Well, except algebra or geometry maybe. I think it told me house and desk are a mess, but I can usually find things...
  19. My Mum swears by squatting in the garden to do weeding. A friend (honest) lies on her back and brings legs towards chest - think cuddling your knees. A kids toilet step does a similar job to rorenchan's product, and cheaper probably. Thosd do look good though.
  20. Great, so you get to feel better AND have a cheerful kitchen. Fingers crossed your family pick up the hint quickly...
  21. When I went back to my doctor with my list of symptoms 3 weeks into a gluten challenge she told me to stop. I am now struggling to get a diagnosis, but then I had a negative blood test. I am not saying to stop, but it might be worth talking it through with your doctor. 3 months seems a long time to wait. Good luck
  22. kareng Do you have a fog in your throat?
  23. Sounds phantastic. Full report Monday then? Though maybe a bit far to come from the UK. Nice to have something to look forward to... (Trying to get the hang of it here, apologies my sense of humor fell out a bit in relation to tomato payste)
  24. Definitely laughing with x
