  3. Gluten Free Pantry French Bread also makes good patty melts. No need to cheat, there is almost without exception a gluten-free substitute to quell any cravings we have.
  4. This is just my own experience--I can not use McCormick's Onion Powder at all. I've tried it several times, two different bottles. I do use their Garlic Powder, Cinnamon, and other "sweet" spices (ginger, ground clove, nutmeg, etc) without a problem. It's hard to find spices that don't used shared lines.   7. Yes, while it's not a given that Celiacs will have additional food intolerances (many don't), it's certainly not unusual. I did well on the gluten-free diet for a few months and then began to get sick again. An Allergist/Immunologist suggested an elimination diet and I found that several other foods were causing my symptoms as well as gluten. I completely...
  8. The Cascade is definitely safe, so my guess would be either you are getting traces of gluten somewhere or you have another food intolerance, which is not that unusual. As mentioned, dairy could be troublesome as can soy, corn, or legumes. You could keep a simple food log--that makes it easier to detect a pattern.

  13. That's a really good idea--the memory foam would be impossible for the kitty to "poke" through because of the thickness. We have one on our bed, and they're extremely comfortable, too.
