  1. I use nutiva coconut flour in my bakery, I snack on the lets do organics roasted coconut chips all the time.
  2. LOL almond binging same thing here I consume about 25lbs every 3-4months. I make almond butter and sell it at farmers markets. I have literally blacked out and found myself shoving handfuls of almonds in my mouth in the past....they are addictive. I had issues with chocolate in the past...but never with cocoa nibs. I buy ground cocoa nibs in bulk and eat...
  3. Funny thing about having issues with a food, you do not notice immediate effects if you eat it daily, every other day, in some random form, or if it is a staple. YOU HAVE to 100% remove it from you life for at least 5 days to 2 weeks then try introducing it again. Corn is a complete utter pain to remove in today's society, it is in just about every other...
  4. There are some natural things to help with stress, I have a corn allergy, and had to drop many of my RX years ago for this reason. I swear by my supplement regime, and my food regime. I suggest them to anyone as they have pretty much saved, yes I practically worship that bottle of B-vitamins and magnesium and that reassurance and bliss I feel from taking...
  5. The exhaustion, weight issue, constipation, anxiety, tired all the time yep so familiar. I used to sleep most they day, my dad had to carry me out of bed and threw me on the couch to wake me growing up and gave me a hot towel to wash my face. Even energy drinks helped very little. Got older it got worse, I could randomly doze off while driving if I did not...
  6. Something in your trail mix might be CCed? Other thoughts...drop the yogurt, Diary is not going to help with these issues. I can tell you how to make your own non dairy SUPER easy. Get a milk of choice, coconut, cashew, almond, flax, etc. pour some in a mason jar, dump 2 50+ million probiotic capsules in it (open them up and dump them in) give it a few stirs...
  7. https://criobru.com/shop I buy these in bulk, they are roasted and ground cocoa nibs. Your supposed to brew them in a french press. I just eat them....you have find the ones you like best, I like to mix them up a bit the ghana french roast has a very deep flavor like a dark roasty cocoa, the light roast is smoother. They do not have my old favorites...
  8. I have to take vitamin C with my iron. I found a nice liquid one I mix in with my other supplement twice a day. I also eat a very high iron diet....and have VERY low ferratain. But I am body building and weight training 3-4 days a week. I find pea protein and cocao is very high in iron. I eat 1/4-1/2 cup of cocoa nibs a meal, couple of scoops of pea protein...
  9. It is a metabolic process where when you body does not have enough carbohydrates for fuel it changes gears essentially and starts using fat and protein for fuel. Kareng gave a great summary of it I was about to reply with a elaborate typed out response I just deleted. Anyway some of us work best on a ketogenic diet. I myself do since my other AI disease flare...
  10. Honestly I would prefer to have my genes or my kids genes edited to not react to gluten then consume a genetically modified grain. I will not have kids, til we can edit out the genes for celiac, autism, etc. Love how they are advancing the crispr research but why do not they focus on the problem of the genes of the human reacting....Like they just want us...
  11. US they use hydrolyzed wheat protein in the beef flavoring they make the fries with. SO not safe in the US. Avoid fast food restaurants period. NY has plenty of 100% dedicated gluten free restaurants so you should be fine. Ask around and make sure they are first. On the go I swear by keeping Julian Bakery Bars, MRM Veggie meal replacement shakes. and Miracle...
  12. Many cases of this in the past few days of people dealing with a recent gluten issues. As normal I can say there are enzymes you take right after you accidentally eat it that can make the symptoms less severe and go away shorter at least gut wise. As for the antibodies your going to have to wait them out. To help with them and address your current issues...
  13. https://www.ahealthblog.com/wp-content/uploads/Vitamin-Deficiency-Symptoms-Chart.jpg What are you viewing this on? Looks fine on a computer screen, tablet...not so much. This is not a very comprehensive or detailed list either I really do suggest that app if you have constant issues.
  14. Umm, I SOO want to cook for you. I make very flavorful gluten free dishes all the time. I tend to over season a bit I will admit. If you want I can give you links to a bunch of gluten free condiments, spices, etc. Baked goods....yeah store stuff sucked for me, dry cardboard, I craved moist gooy dough, I craved stuff that melted in my mouth. SO I started...
  15. Here like me. you might consider turning to grain free options for gluten free foods from grain free companies. I with simple mills mixes for some things that I have not perfected in my own bakery. Julian Bakery Makes Grain free/starch free/low carb breads and mixes (recently perfected my own grain free bread in my bakery so I do not use them anymore but...
  16. MOM?! Lol not really but just about I had that EXACT issues I am 27 now but it was discovered when I was 23. The corn issue I got was a allergy, but the celiac almost killed me, and I was running a bucket list before SHE suggested the celiac issue. I was adopted so we had no idea of anything in my actual family since they did not and will not release medical...
  17. Yeah I tend to have Mr. Hyde come out with gluten exposure. Honestly he was not present with my last few minor issues....anyway. Plenty of fluids, bone broths if she can do them. whole food soups. Avoid processed foods, have more whole foods and greens. Green and herbal teas can help. NOTE there are some enzymes that can help shorten gut issues but I think...
  18. First were you tested for celiac? IS this rash DH? In case of a DH rash they have to take a biopsy from a clear spot next to one of the lesions. Those with DH sometimes do not show up on other celiac test, Other thoughts what about your shampoo? Body wash? Did you have any recent work done in the house with plaster or drywall? Is this a allergic reactions...
  19. There seems to be a new auto word change that changes all instances of "gluten-free" to gluten-free in case it does it to this post G F without a space gets changed to gluten-free. I was trying to reference a brand name and it kept on changing it to this and messing me up and drove my OCD mad. If your here and do not know what G F means then you probably...
  20. ....OK ADMIN just delete this one just another slap in the face article. " After demand from the neighborhood, they will soon add gluten-free options, though these crepes will be prepared on the same griddle, so they're intended for those with mild celiac disease or those who just prefer to eat gluten-free. " Sorry Numskull but "mild celiac" FFS...
  21. Yeah been there, done that, I have broken down to learning to how to cook acorns even, fall I steal pumpkins from the city decorations after halloween so I can eat the seeds and sell the meat in baked goods at the markets. I sometimes used to take produce from the grocery stores. Note you can sometimes talk with a manager and haggle on damaged produce they...
  22. The point is, celiac is mostly genetic, it can be dormant for years then come up. You can have it with no symptoms for years as it slowly eats away at your insides also. So you should have your kids eating gluten and get them tested. This way you know if they have active celiac. They should also be tested every year or so as there is a high chance they will...
  23. Hospitals and the ER....will normally ignore your dietary requirements with celiac. If they gave you so called gluten-free food...it had gluten. You have to have your own brought in or ask for plain whole foods. I wear medical dog tags with emergency contact info, allergies, blood type, and medical info on them. And my emergency contacts have been told where...
  24. All the issues you said came up after going gluten-free. Three points 1. Are you sure you eating gluten free? If you eat out good chance your getting CCed, and is everything your eating really gluten free?
