Many years ago when Advair was first being tested they took me off of Ventolin and Flovent to have me test the dumb thing. Well to make a long story short I used it for a week it caused me not only to have an asthma attack, the end result being pneumonia and put me in the hospital. While they had me use it in the hospital I got worse. When we switched me... -

Lynne, I am so sorry this did not come out the way you hoped it would. However, perhaps he was your knight in shining armor. If you think he is an excellent doctor and he told you that the surgery could go the other way then, perhaps he is afraid that could be the end result. Then you would be worse off than you are and that would not be good. I hope something...

I am not alone! My urine smelled so bad it would almost make me sick. It was a strange smell. I had a shower at least twice a day then. Now the only time it happens is when I am glutened.

Many drugs such as heroin, cocaine, crack etc. They are cut with numerous things such as: cornstarch, sugar, flour, some have been known to cut them with cleanser and other nasty substances. So, needless to say I wouldn't be taking them. -

ARCHIVED Does Anyone Feel Good At All?
Rusla replied to Carolita's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I have been gluten-free since November 28, last year. For me the change in my bowels was within the first week. Then realizing after a month that I did not get up 8 times a night to pee, which I had done my whole life. I won't say I feel perfect but I am not as tired as I was except when I get accidentally glutened. I feel better than I have in a long time... -
That is for sure. I am up and down with the Synthroid however, being gluten free has been a benefit in losing weight.

Good for you Nicole on getting back on the diet. I sure that goes away soon, I can really relate to having a rash there. I have had one there before many times. I found sticking to this better the second time around, especially when I get really sick from just a few crimes.

Hi Brian--welcome to the group. This is a great place for support and to learn a lot of things. I would definitely say go gluten-free but you need to be completely gluten free.
