Serielda replied to BlessedMommy's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Absolutly, just the other night my hubby and I was talking about this topic before I saw it here. ARCHIVED Hail Merry Persian Lime Tarts--Yum!
Serielda replied to BlessedMommy's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I am a huge fan of Hail Merry's products, but the calorie content can be up there. I am a huge fan of their macaroons, namely the salted caramel ones. They make a heck of a bribe to get me to do things when I am feeling like " but I don't wanna" with me. However their tarts like the chocolate Almond butter one and the lime ones they have ones you can cut... -
StephanieL, post extreme diet make over there was a freaking ton of rice and veggies and I admit to eating a lot of gluten free soy fake meat things. Cooking at night fell on hubby as I work overnights. I admit he is a trooper and serious keeper. When I was told no gluteny things he stopped eating them . He stated if I couldn't have some of my faves he wasn...

Blessed, trust me when I asked several sources that did give me a reasonable answer. I tend to agree with you, however they all seem in agreement . So I am trying things their way. After all they specialize in what they do. I understand my constant doubt is not cool as I have seen improvements, and my minor sarcasm about some requests would be like them trying...

To address the mentions of nutritionists yes they also agreed on the no grains period thing. I know I've shown some improvements since the changes, which I know positive improvements should trump over a lot, but I still find myself lashing out about it. I feel that helping with a cause I wanted to support strongly was stolen from me by ignorance. like I...

ARCHIVED Gluten Cutter: Digestive Aid?
Serielda replied to powerofpositivethinking's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
ich kann immer noch nicht glauben, dass ist real. In translation, I can not believe that's real. Something about that stuff makes me highly dubious and nervous. I'd personally not try it, but if it works hooray if it helps with accidents. Even the times I did get hit, I was like nah, and was a good girl and had my kombucha probiotic drinks by GTs. I've known... -

ARCHIVED Why Did You Go Soy Free?
Serielda replied to JodyM75's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Post surgery, when my dr gave me a freaking nearly encyclopedia length list of no no foods. A new hint I found also is watch xantthsn gum, gullar gum and locus bean as well, they have properties that can mimic soy, and corn. Met a new good friend who studies gi disorders and nutrition. After shaking those out as well I noticed I started to see improvements... -
ARCHIVED I Officialy Hate My Gluten Free Bakery
Serielda replied to John Burlingame's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Look I know what I may say might sound repetitive, but i 100% get it when you talk of frustration and soy, corn, etc. A month or so ago my entire world got flipped upside down, I was happy as a vegan who was starting to get a hold of the gluten free ropes ,when over the course of a weekend I had the rug snatched under my feet and I was pretty depressed and... -
Just looked down at my nails and noticed my painfully over pronounced fingernail ridges are starting to reduce and look like normal healthy nails. I hope this is a good sign that I'm starting to heal. I know I still have a long ways to go but just happy to see a minor improvement.
