I'd get it if it wouldn't scare the little kids I'll be teaching, lol. I love things like that. Now I've just got a collection of humorous cat t shirts that always get attention. Back in the day I'd wear very shocking things, especially in grad school. It was the norm to be as shocking as possible in art school! -

Congratulations! personally I took a big horse pill of a prenatal chock full of iron that the obgyn recommended each time I was pg. Do what your doc recommends. They should do a test to see if you need it or not, and if so, about how much you need. -

ARCHIVED Do I need the biopsy?
Victoria1234 replied to lngmk's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I applaud Gemini's post. I have not found it hard nor isolating, except at first when sorting out hidden gluten sources. I was so happy to have my pain decrease that I would have been happy if I only was eating potatoes,. As it is, there's such a huge range of foods you can eat that it's rather healthy and it's fun to explore what you can make. Even on a... -

I used to have them very frequently. My on put me on an prophylactic disease of macrobid years ago which knocked them down. But you know what? I stopped taking the med and after I went gluten-free, I haven't had even one! So not sure if it's related or if drinking more water and urinating more frequently helped. ..... but it's so much nicer than it was 1... -

ARCHIVED living in a house with gluten
Victoria1234 replied to 1398-Days's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I agree totally with Karen. It can be done on a budget. We do. Our trick is we don't buy much except for noodles that are from the gluten-free aisle. I mostly eat foods that are whole that my husband cooks for me. Mostly ethnic dishes actually that the whole family eats. I don't do the expensive gluten-free bread. I just can't enjoy it as it costs so much...
