  1. We have another hot day in store too, and when we left for work this morning the humidity was already very high!!!
  2. Crystal, It is good to see you are finally starting to feel better. You have a lot of confidence in yourself, it took me long than just a few months to stay away from my home. That is great! It is nice to see you are getting on with your life. Have fun this weekend.
  3. Sometimes you may get a delayed reaction or no reaction at all. That doesn't mean the gluten isn't hurting you. It is still doing damage inside your body. Some people are going gluten free can get exposed to gluten and not get sick. Some members will get violently ill. It all depends on the person. I would not knowingly eat gluten, the hidden reactions scare...
  4. That is good to know, I will have to visit the one back at my parents house. I am not sure if we have one in my area. Glad you enjoyed your meal.
  5. I will keep your dad and the rest of your family in our prayers. Hope things get better. Did you come back home or are you still up there?
  6. So glad to hear everything worked out. It is nice to hear that the woman was understanding, sounds like it is a very nice place. Enjoy the reception!
  7. I am venturing out into the oven in 10 minutes, but I am heading to the pool for a bit. I love summer, even if it is hotter than all outside, I would rather that than be bone cold.
  8. What kind of freebies did Wegamsn give away?
  9. I do appreciate that Our store opens on Sept 16th, I can't wait :) I am coming down to your neck of the woods in 3 weeks, time for our trip to the beach.
  10. It was very cold up there and after that long ride there I could have used the warm weather.
  11. It's happened to all of us, I know I have done it before. It is hard to get on the wagon especially in the beginning. I don't know about anyone else but I am set in my habits and the idea of never having any of the gluten containing food again bothered me. I don't cheat now. Good Luck
  12. So I am not sure how the weather is around everyone else, but today in PA it is in the mid 90's but the humidity is pushing it towards 100. I am at work and I have a sweater on, it is always cold in the hospital. I am heading out in a few minutes to soak up some sun. Maybe a tan? How are the temps around you guys?
  13. Hmm, I never saw brownies in that type of box from GFP before. I will be on the look out for them though, mmmm peanut buttery brownies. What are you trying to do to me here...I am at work
  14. I have to say that is an interesting question. The stuff does look nasty. Yes, paris is all over the news.
  15. I love the smell of warm brownies in the oven.
  16. Awesome you found the ring, glad to hear your dad is home and doing much better. My mom was so ill last week, I didn't know what we would do so I understood how you are feeling.
  17. Thank You for sharing your response, Phyllis
  18. Jess, Let me know how the brownies turn out. I love the truffle brownies. Cannot find them anywhere!!!
  19. It sounds as if you had a great time at Disney, glad to hear it.
  20. I know where we are, sometimes they rub a cream or something on the child's arm before taking the blood. The butterfly needle is also another very good thing. Will they allow you to sit with the child while getting the blood taken? That may also cause him to be a little more at ease.
  21. Jerry, That is great!!! Congrats!!!
  22. Oh my gosh!!! Bell and Evans for that price!!!! Wow, I pay 5.99 at Giant and that is the lowest I have found them. I need to find me some Gluten Free Pantry brownie mix, almost no one carries it anymore. that stuff is the best.
  23. Gretchen, Sounds like you are doing great on your business trip. I too, just returned from a business trip where I was in Washington DC for a few days. I made out well. I brought along a lot of food and ate dinners at the hotel, which was a Marriott. I did not get sick once and I had a great time.
