    Most of the problem is that researchers know that immune disease is caused by the body making antibodies to "self" something it doesnt normallly do. They havent found the "on button" much less who/what is sneaking in and flipppin the darn switch When they find the on button, then they have to find the off switch, no doubt hidden better than the on button...

    The diet you describe has almost no carbs in it - you would lose weight even without the diarrhea. I am sorry you are dealing with diarrhea all the time - not fun! Can you tolerate rice or potatoe, quinoa, banana - any of that? Can you tolerate a dairy product - like yogurt? I agree with the suggestion for acidophyllus too - your gut flora is very upset...

Perhaps instead of being angry and approaching the doctor with the approach: It might be better to provide psychological support. depression is common in chronic illness, esp disorders like celiac where this patient may not have family...

    Hi guys, dd responded very well to eliminating lactose only, she is feeling 100% and back on track at school. I will keep an eye on things - and if symptoms return, will try no dairy. Lactose free milk, lacteeze if she has cheese or ice cream and she is symptom free. Interesting benefit to ds.... I asked him to try the lactose free milk and use lacteeze...

    You're welcome - with the bedwetting - that took about 6 weeks if I remember right - he wet the bed almost every night, then I noticed it was very 3rd night then once a week, then it was like 2 weeks went by and no soaking wet boy in the middle of the night needing a hug and dry clothes He still occasionally wets the bed - I think once in the last 6 months...

    Daughter improved almost immediately (first couple weeks after gluten-free) - energy levels went way up, school work improved as did her attention and focus.     it certainly sounds like a skin reaction to something in the product - could be the fragrances. Or the towel - does your mom use bounce sheets or Tide? - even dogs can get major rashes when they come into contact with items washed /dried with either...     yes, I can take time off work and rest and I will do that or else I wont be much help to anyone. It will be a better day tomorrow as kids go to school and dh goes to work.     Thanks for the hugs Andrea, I am losing hope that dh will ever learn thow to help kids. I was admitted to the hospital one time and put on Iv, dh left kids with me while he ran errands. He didnt see the big deal. The biggest stress right now is coping with ds and his diabetes - he is in growth phase and requires adjusmtne of insuling daily - plus midnight...
