Have you ever thought of putting a like button in? There are plenty of times I just want to like something and not post. Just wondering :)

We do have something like this but had to turn it off a while back due to an issue with it. We may bring it back....

Currently, you can use the little green arrow in the post box to "vote this post up"  I did it to your post and you will now see a little 1 to say someone "liked" it.

We already have a  "like button"...it's the vote up on the right. See? I just did Karen's. :)

And I just liked Irish's post. One good turn deserves another! :D

Ok, for clarification, we used to also be able to vote down posts/topics...not sure yet if we'll bring that back.

IrishHeart Veteran

BOO ....on "vote down" buttons! <_<   people use them to be mean.  :( what purpose does that serve?

this is a supposed to be a supportive community.

IMHO, of course.

Being able to vote things down is just vicious. It seems rude, confrontational and unproductive. I like the voting thing we have now.

Ok I voted everyones up!! Thanks :) Yea I don't like the vote down button idea either :) Thanks I had no idea :)

Ah yes, I totally forgot the vote up button was where.  I agree with no vote down button- if someone comes on and is trolling or causing a ruckus the moderators are really good at putting a stop to that.

I wanted to second this, and add a thanks to all the moderators for being so on top of things, knowlegable, and supportive. This site wouldn't be what it is without you. You're awesome!

Thanks for asking  I’m mainly looking for gluten-free staples and snacks. Any recommendations for brands or go-to items would be appreciated.

sorry a bit confused so I should take my B complex along with Objective Nutrients Thiamax for TTFD but what about a Benfotiamine to take. The Life extensions contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine together or im confusing myself. I am trying to see if I take Thiamax what should I take for Benfotiamine. Thanks EDITING after further research I see ones water soluble ones fat soluble. So I guess 100MG as you suggested of Life Extension contains Benfotiamine and Thiamine Hydrochloride. and the Objective Nutrients Thiamax contains TTFD.     would work for me.

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.
