Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Recommended Posts

Donna...I was thinking we might be able to meet yesterday. Dont you normally have BioSET on Saturdays?? I thought I might run into you...but nope...you werent there. :(

Yeah, they told me Denise would be back in NOvember, but I haven't seen her around at all on Saturdays.

I do usually go on Saturdays (and usually around 1:00 or sometimes I go earlier if they don't have a later appt), but I decided to avoid the holiday heiniosity myself, and didn't schedule my next appointment until January. I've only got one or two more to go, I think...course I thought THAT about 8 visits ago.

Rachel, I had every symptom on that list except tumors ...

...

I get these from the Bartonella. They flared when I started bart treatment. Might be different than what Andrea is talking about though .... they would cluster up on my forehead/scalp, but I also would get random ones on my arms and legs.

Yeah, I had just about all of them myself...even the tumors if fibroids can be included in that, lol.

I supposedly have Bartonella too, so maybe they're from that. I have them mostly on my arms. My legs and rest of my body have the ones more like blisters.

I gave my FIL a lot of food for thought about possibilities and what the GI can and cannot do. He was interested in all of it and wrote it down to Google later.

YAY!! :D

I'm glad he's gonna get tested for Celiac....even if its not the problem at least he would have had it ruled out.

I don't know ... do the worms move? I haven't had that motion stuff since I got rid of it, come to think of it. My stomach used to quite often make constant noise .... no longer.

Yeah...I'm pretty sure they move....unless maybe they were injured and somehow got paralyzed.

Mine will stop moving once I start beating the heck out of them with my alinia. :P

Is she disowning you are accepting the worm as her daughter now? Nah, just tell her she has a daughter with a pet .... what did you name him? (He's a pest, so he's a guy...)

:lol::lol:

Yeah...the alien baby needs an "official" name now that he's been "found out". :P

and yes....he's definately male....and annoying!

Yeah...I have cysts and at least one fibroid. I know I had the cyst on my ovary and I also have a lump behind my ear that showed up right around the time my thyroid went hyper. I was told it was a cyst....but who knows...it was a Kaiser Dr. looking at it.

Dang....we totally could have met yesterday! My appt. was at 1:00!

Do you see Dr. S. tomorrow??

Eventually we will probably meet there since I'm gonna be spending quite a bit of time in the IV room. I'll be there tomorrow but only to drop off my urine sample.

I asked Amy if I'd "see" anything when I'm on the Alinia...she said I *might* but that the parasite would be encased in mucous and other gunk...so I might see lots of mucous....or other weird things. She said I will definately have stool changes.

TMI alert.

Mine wasn't encased in mucus. The first time it was very clear what it was. As time went on it looked more digested, so as time went on it looked less and less like what it was, though it still didn't look like anything I ate.

I saw some mucus, but not much.

Nothing else weird, just the worm.

Oh, and the worm would float to the top, so it would separate somewhat from the rest.

She said the meds wont touch the eggs so thats why we have to repeat treatments.
Too bad you can't use the Humaworm  ... it gets the eggs.

YAY!! :D

I'm glad he's gonna get tested for Celiac....even if its not the problem at least he would have had it ruled out.

He told hubby that it was just one thing he was going to be tested for ... it was on the list. Let's just hope the GI knows enough to run the whole panel!

But, yes, it will be good to at least rule it out.

Now that we know it's something his mother has, I'm more suspicious of celiac than I was before. That sure would be ironic! The past two years I've been gluten-free, and then ADAM's family ends up having it?!

Now, admit it, even though I said TMI, you all still read it, right?

I'm so very sorry...I really wish I knew of someone back there! You could always see Carla's LLMD...at least he'd run the proper tests.

That's a good idea. :)

Sorry Kristina. :(

Here are some of the symptoms caused by parasites....but of course they can be caused by other infections as well. It seems like once the balance is upset we're getting alot of different infections.

Constipation I tend more this direction but it's not bad.

Joint and Muscle Aches My right leg knee to ankle has been a problem for the last 8 years, but it's not constant.

Allergies I have seasonal allergy (hay fever type) but just food intolerances that I know of aside from that.

Skin Conditions Definately!

Nervousness I've always had a problem with shaking my leg. I just don't sit still all that often, but I don't rock.

Sleep Disorders Used to be a real problem but not so much anymore. There are still times though.

Chronic Fatigue I don't believe I have chronic fatigue but do have exhaustion, depression, sometimes difficulty concentrating, aches.

Immune Dysfunction Don't know about this.

Is she disowning you are accepting the worm as her daughter now? Nah, just tell her she has a daughter with a pet .... what did you name him? (He's a pest, so he's a guy...)

I'm glad you were able to fortify him with info to help encourage your bil into getting some testing done.

Rachel,

My parasite that came up on the ASYRA isn't listed on there that I can tell. <_< Sounds like really potent stuff though.

The single biggest item I ever found for terrain problems (applies to Candida too) was heavy metal toxicity. Mercury is the worst offender, of course, but there are others: arsenic, lead (big problem), aluminum and chromium, to name a few.

Then comes xenobiotic chemicals, such as benzene, phthalates, toluene and xylene. So parasites are really a mixed message

At this point I dont think theres such a thing as TMI.

Last night I was talking to my friend/boss about parasites and all this fun stuff.....updating her on my appt. with Amy. I was telling her about people seeing pieces of the worm. She was like "In the toilet??"

:lol::lol:

Umm yeah....forgot I wasnt talking to my forum buddies. :P

I got carried away talking about the worm.

Definately not something the average person goes around talking about to everyone. :P

I figure the details are definitely TMI, but the first large roundworm I saw after starting garlic was not in the toilet!!

Rachel if you could handle pumpkin seeds it paralyzes the tapeworm so it lets go of the wall, if you could then handle a laxative to get rid of it you might make some progress.

What I did--pineapple diet for three days kills tapeworms (between starving them and feeding them bromelain that is in pineapple. But you maybe wouldn't handle that.

Kristina, I am not in the NE either, sorry I don't have a suggestion. I bet Carla's LLMD would be a good start because he screens for many many things in addition to lyme.

Someone on LN just posted that a friend got the bullseye rash after visiting a state park in Indiana, so I asked what state park, and it was the one (McCormick's Creek) 4 1/2 miles from my old house!!!! So, we definitely had Lyme in those woods! :o

Sherry, :o :o :o

 Yep, I was thinking the same thing...there IS not such thing as TMI here, lol. I really have to remember who I'm talking to when I'm out with friends, lol. Pretty sure any talk of this would totally cause :o and {{{insert pukey smiley here}}}

Next time answer, "No, it crawled out and was in the bed!" Let us know the reaction you get! :o:lol:

:o :o :o Wish I could pin down where I got mine from...stupid ticks!

Got any number of choices for the parasites, but that stupid tick...I just don't know.

Well, we taught natural family planning for seven years, so we had to watch what we said more then than I do now! We got so used to talking about sex, mucus, cervix, etc. .... well, it was the same as here, not always appropriate conversation for other groups.

:o :o :o Wish I could pin down where I got mine from...stupid ticks!

That's not where I got my Lyme from ... I got mine much earlier in Ohio .... it's just that my kids got numerous ticks when we lived near that park.

Rachel,

I got your message - thanks! That is my work address. I was wondering if it was there so I logged onto my computer at work to check. The email connected to celiac.com is old. I can't figure out how to go in and change it.

Okay, now I am still kind of ignorant about all the alternative stuff even after reading a lot over and over on this forum. So be patient with me, LOL.

Bioset, asyra, ART, etc. How are they different?

My LLMD does some simple muscle testing on me once in awhile. Also, I haven't had this for awhile, but several times I did this thing with someone in his office, where I held a metal bar in one hand, connected to a machine and computer. She would put items up on the machine and test me for them. Is this ART or something? I can't remember what they called it.

If so, I don't want to do with Amy or Elizabeth something my LLMD has already done or could do, I'd like to do things that add to the picture.

I haven't had the LED, so that would be different.

For those of you who are celiac, does that show up on these tests?

Let's say that due to the changes I have made this year, I AM moving mercury at this point. Could this account for the liver enzyme elevation? (On top of the long term meds of course, but I have been fine with those for a very long time.)

ART is Autonomic Response Testing. I think it's considered a more advanced form of muscle testing. It's muscle testing and something else I think.....the name escapes me. Dr. K is the one who developed this along with someone else.

Dr A or Dr E would be much more advanced and do more things than what your LLMD would do by the sounds of it. I'm thinking you have something like the BioSET or BioScan done. ASYRA is much more detailed and only takes a few minutes to run through everything as the "rods" are hooked to the computer hard drive which has all the info/frequencies on it.

I still think you'd benefit from a visit with either of them. I'm willing to go up with you if you'd like.....just let me know. Do you still want me to make an appointment or do you want to think on it?

I think it could, especially if you don't have the support needed for what is being moved.

Kristina,

Lymenet (I think that's where I found it) has support group info, or info specific to the different areas in the U.S. and Canada. I was able to get in contact with the head of my local lyme group and was given referrals to the LLMDs near me. You might want to look into that as a possibility.

Oops, I skipped this before. Celiac doesn't come up but the gluten does. I had gluten come up on my ELISA (allergy IgG) test as well as the ASYRA over a year later. I haven't done any food treatments so that would not have cleared. The children had the food LED done so that enabled them to eat a bit more again. We still won't do gluten as we all have celiac genes.

Is that Eos thing similar to the Eos disorder where you are sensitive to foods, or something like that?

Yes, that's it exactly. Only the GI dr (a celiac specialist, he actually spoke at the local annual celiac seminar) is just treating it with steroids now, probably because I'm already eliminating so many foods already.

Happy Birthday Jin!!!!!

Kristina,

I live in the NE US. :) All of my drs are along the western edge of PA, though. I could give you their names.

Kassandra,

I got your email and that's some fantastic news! I hope you find some safe foods, and that your body starts accepting more foods.

Everyone,

After doing the math I've discovered that I need to stay on this soft foods diet until the Friday after Christmas! This is going to drive me nuts! Fortunately our library system has a soft foods recipe book, so hopefully that will come in soon since I'm running out of ideas. I'm also going to talk to my Naturopath about adding dairy back into my diet temporarily. I'm already losing weight, and all stuff with lots of sugar in it is making my body unhappy. :(

This is exactly what Dr. H has had good luck with using Cowden for. His own wife had trouble getting off abx, and did with Cowden, and even felt better than she ever has.

Yeah, remember you saying that, so my interest was peaked.

That's what I had, I held a rod in one hand, and she touched certain points on my hands, arm, feet with the probe and the info was on the computer, or she put the item on the machine. Response was graphic on the computer. The person that did it had special training in it. My LLMD said that he looked at this as a guideline, not an absolute.

Yes, please try to make the appointment. Seems there could be some things that could still be different, I'm still trying to understand. I don't remember them checking various pathways, more individual things like bugs, supplements, and stuff. I don't remember them locating mercury or lyme in a specific body area either. I'd be interested in the LED at least.

Thanks for offering to go with me! I'd love to meet you though I think I am fine going on my own. My DH will go with me I am sure.
