My Baby Boy Is Here!

Oh...I'm such a proud mom! :D

Despite epilepsy, lupus, sjogrens, celiac, taking nine different high-powered prescriptions, and being admitted to the hospital twice during pregnancy...I gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, and wonderful little baby boy! He was 20 inches long and weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. :lol:

He is such a happy baby! He'll be seven weeks old this week and smiles all the time. He has also started to giggle and coo! I'm loving it.

I just had to share about my blessing! Good luck to everyone who is pregnant or considering pregnancy; I wish you ladies well. :)

Congratulations!!!! That's so wonderful to hear, and I'm glad you are enjoying your new little blue bundle!

Only 5 weeks left for me until baby #4, Lucy Kate, arrives........then we are finished, lol!!!!!

Congratulations, Julie!

It's the most amazing & wonderful thing to know you have brought a new life into the world. My "baby boys" (twins) are home from college for the summer, over 6 feet tall now, & still I can remember so vividly the day they were born... the miracle of gazing into those brand-new eyes... the most beautiful sight I had ever seen.

With all those problems during pregnancy I am so happy that you went full term and had a healthy thriving baby!!!!!!

Thank you everyone! :P He is absolutely adorable...today he discovered his right hand (he still doesn't know that he has a left hand yet) ;) I watched him intentionally grab a rattle with his right hand! What a big accomplishment for such a little boy! :D

Congratulations!! Get ready for the ride of your life; parenthood is the most incredible adventure. Enjoy every moment; you won't believe how fast he grows! (I distinctly remember looking at my 2-month-old son and thinking, "Who took my newborn and replaced him with this 2-month-old???")

      My journey is it gluten or fiber?

      You should be fine. You may start feeling better within a few days. Someone who is very low in thiamine may notice improvement within hours. Did you get the NeuroMag or another magnesium supplement?

      Yes Bobs redmill cgf oatmeal I started when I became gluten-free. So taking all 3 with breakfast should work? Will I notice any reactions getting used to these or should I be fine. Thanks

      Hello, @pilber309, welcome to the forum! Are you currently consuming dairy? You mentioned something about lots of yogurt and cheese, but did you cut it out or are you eating lots of it? Could you clarify please? Some people with Celiac react to casein, the protein in dairy the same as to gluten with antibodies and villi damage.

      You may want to skip the oatmeal. I believe you're trialing a gluten free diet while waiting for an appointment with your doctor in the new year and doing a gluten challenge then. Some people with Celiac disease react to the protein in oats called avenin the same as to gluten. Cross contamination between oats and gluten containing grains is possible. ...

      So I purchased the Life Extension Benfotiamine with Thiamine along with the Thiamax. I will take along with my Super B Complexes. I stopped taking the multi vitamins. Should I take all 3 vitamins/supplements together with my morning oatmeal breakfast? Do you think I will experience any bad symptoms when taking them.

Yes, it will be fine to take them all together.  I take mine all together, B Complex, Benfotiamine and TTFD Thiamine with breakfast. If you're really anxious about it, just take the B Complex and Benfotiamine at breakfast and the Thiamax at lunch.  You won't have to take a second B Complex with the Thiamax.
