Good morning Andrea, how are you and the kids??

We are doing good Julie, thank you for asking.

Inquiring minds want to know. What exactly is the Atkins diet again? I've heard so many bad things about it, like ketosis (I think it is). Isn't it primarily protein? I've found myself going back to eating meat/egg protein with my meals, probably more than I should. I had learned that it caused a lot of problems with the heart after a time. Anyone?

No plans this weekend. We usually stay home. May have Mitch take the kids to church so we don't mess up Seth's schedule again, maybe we'll all go... We really wanted to go to Southern Oregon for a night but finances may not allow for it since Mitch had such a slow month last month. :(

Yes, I did this competetively....wore the same skirt type outfits the ice skaters wear....I had a partner too. It was basically the same except when I fell I didnt freeze my butt off. :D

Ooooh...maybe one day I'll change my avatar to an old pic of me in my roller skating days. :lol:

Rachel, who knew we had so many similarities, and nerdy and dorky ones at that :lol:

I loved to go roller skating with all my friends, that was the cool thing to do in the late 70s, early 80s, go to Skate City and go around and round in a circle while Bonnie TYler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" blared on the loud speaker

I'm also a "Friends" fan.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was the one where Ross wore leather pants on a date. He was in the bathroom trying to get them back on--trying everything including shaking powder all over himself. :lol:

jayhawkmom--Your picture is great! Glad you're sticking around :)

Andrea--I'm going back now and look closer at you new picture--see who's who! :P

That one was hilarious!!!

I also liked the one where Ross whitened his teeth and they were so white they glowed in the dark :lol:

Also, when they all went to that conference for Ross in the Bahamas (or somewhere tropical??) and Monica's hair got all frizzy and she was going crazy over the ping pong competition.

Uh oh, now here we go, getting started on Friends, the hilariousness doesn't end :lol::lol:

      He is not just a psychiatrist.  He is also a neuroscientist.  And yes, I have already read those studies.   I agree with benfotiamine.  This is short term while glutened/inflammation occurs.  As I had already mentioned, these symptoms no longer exist when this phase passes.  And yes, I know that celiac is a disease of malnutrition.  We are working with a naturopath.

      Thanks for your response.  Everything you mentioned he is and has been doing.  Tobacco is not the same as nicotine.  Nicotine, in the form of a patch, does not cause gastrointestinal irritation.  Smoking does. He is not smoking.  Please do your research before stating false information. Dr. Paul Newhouse has been doing research on nicotine the last 40 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

      Im so frustrated and still getting the run around trying to reprove my celiac disease which my past primary ignored for 25 years.I understand that theres a ray of medical that doctors are limited too but not listening and telling the patient ( me) that im not as sensitive as I think and NOT celiac!Correction Mr white coat its not what I think but for cause and affect and past test that are not sticking in my medical records.I get sick violently with foods consumed, not eating the foods will show Im fabulous. After many blood draws and going through doctors I have the HLA- DQ2 positive which I read in a study that Iran conducted that the severity in celiac is in that gene.Im glutenfree and dealing with related issues which core issue of celiac isn't addressed. My skin, right eye, left leg diagestive issues affected. I have high blood pressure because im in pain.Im waisting my time on trying to reprove that Im celiac which is not a disease I want, but unfortunately have.It  has taken over my life personally and professionally. How do I stop getting medically gaslight and get the help needed to bounce back if I ever do bounce back to normal? I thought I was in good care with " celiac specialist " but in her eyes Im good.Im NOT.Sibo positive, IBS, Chronic Fatigue just to name a few and its all related to what I like to call a ghost disease ( celiac) since doctors don't seem to take it seriously.
