Ha! Since we're all in a youtube mood, I'll share what I found while I've been poking around the site. This is perhaps a bit late, but most of us still have our Christmas decorations up, so the mood may still be there:

More kitty questions for Peter - why (when he has woken me up by laying over my face) does Will try to insert his head in my mouth when I yawn????

I know Lucky does this....I can wake up numerous times and he is always sitting on the nightstand resting his head on the alarm clock and staring at me....while Purring. I look at him and he comes over and kisses me and then continues to stare....freaky! He does not do this to John....just me.

Yes, you did! It was absolutely top-rated, and went into reruns for many years over there. Uh...at least it did in Scotland, Australia,...I believe Ireland...perhaps not England...The creator of the show is English and has had many kid shows on over there. YCDTOT was his only foray into a North American market. I miss it!

Gahh! Both of my cats do this, at the same time. Very freaky. What is more freaky is the fact that now I will suddenly awaken and the yeti is in between the two cats, staring as well.... :o:huh:

Amanda, it's so horrid to hear about the life Sabrina must lead when she is with her waste-of-skin mother, but an incredible relief to know that at least she has found your wonderful family. :)

You silly, it's meant to scare the evil spirits away, so you'll have a blessedly good year! I love the tradition. Neighbors have thought I was mad, some years. Never done it here in Stepford.......but WHAT a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!! P'raps I'll see if I can round up my shirtless zombie and have him join in! ;)

I know Sabrina's mom is a waste of flesh! It is so sad, that people who are dying to have children cannot but all these people who are unfit are having babies left and right....

So right now I am playing fetch with my cat, he is like a dog....throw something and he brings it back.

My cat also follows us wherever we go, especially if we both leave the room....its like having a shadow...LOL and when I am cooking he is laying right behind me, I step on him all the time and he still lays there.

Gus and my two cats follow me (just me, no one else) everywhere. This includes the bathroom. I'll head in, sit down, and Gus pushes the door open with his nose. Then Bryce will come in under Gus's legs, and finally, Tess will quietly round up the group and all three will be sitting around me as I'm having a pee. Quite something...

Now, the yeti has not tried to join this bathroom mob...thank gawd, as there just is NOT room...

Chicken legs, huh, Jess?

Okay, going out to a small New Year's Eve party tonight...house party, kids are coming, should be about fifteen people. Wearing black. Drinking wine. Bringing yeti.

Jess, if the kitty that you are talking about is the kitty in your av . . . let him have the whole darn kitchen.

and BTW let's clarify here.....I think I like the OLD musicals......the classics. Never minded watching them - in fact LOVED Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Oliver.......'tis true!!!!!! I think it's the newer ones.......OMG OMG OMG I borrowed Chicago from someone and lasted all of about 8 minutes - was FURIOUS - - - was DEEPLY TORTURED - - so skipped to the end and watched last scene......worst thing I've ever seen.

The one with Renee Zellweger and Cathrine Zeta-Jones????? . . . Yep, I looovvvvveeeed that!

I have returned from the mall!!!! I have seen Carla and she is indeed NOT Robert Redford. We had a wonderful visit and her husband was terribly nice and tolerant of all the gabbing and took pictures for us. I think Carla's turned out better. When I have time, I'll put one up in the av.

Bevvie wevvie!!! :D

Nikki--you poor thing :( The flu is awful--I hope it doesn't last long....take care, get lots of rest and don't forget the chicken soup ;)

I also need to go on a diet--way too much candy and cookies as of late--and all this talk of marshmallows, caramel and toffee is not helping  M-m-m...toffee.....

Love The Sound of Music! If I had to choose, I would say "My Favorite Things" is my favorite song from it, but all of the music was so good.

Patti called me Bevvie wevvie- I LOVE that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2008, I will outlaw:

glutenings and all other food intolerances

stomach flu

man flu

hangovers

man colds

projectile vomiting

weight gain of any kind

OMG- Lyme is making me chubby and brain dead.....seriously, ever since i stopped uhmm....upchucking on a tri-dailly basis, I've put on like 10 [pounds. Feel like a Lymie COW!!!!!!!!!!!!

She actually spent Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the following day with her biological mom...and when my mom picked her back up at Child Services on Thursday, she found out the baby hadn't had a change of clothes the entire time she was "home" My mom peered in the diaper bag at all the clean clothes she sent, it was obvious none had ever been touched. Then the one pair of pajamas that she must have worn her whole visit, were literally pitch black....eww! My mom dunked her in the bath tub the minute she got her home.

So after my rant...sorry had to get that off my chest. So I saw her and we all gave her presents on Saturday. She is such a pleasant baby...she has been in the system since birth...her mom has supposedly done almost everything that she needs in order to get her child back. But when the baby's father comes along (mom's boyfriend) she forgets about the baby...even leaving it alone for hours...and now the baby comes back to us dirty. So I guess if the mom screws up again the baby will go for adoption. So in my eyes, why not allow her to keep screwing up and let the baby go to a family who wants her....an adoptive home. The system will keep delaying it and delaying it and by the time she is ready for adoption she could be 3 or 4...if not older and than her chances of getting adopted get smaller and smaller...people want babies. I know some people need those chances to prove themselves but look at the best interest of the kid....give her half the chance to have a great life....

Sorry for the rant.

OMG- I would rant too! She's so cute. I was adopted and i feel so fortunate

hmmm, I like Chicago. But I felt this way ^ about Moulin Rouge, so I guess I can relate.

Oh Lordie- hated Chicago! And only made it through the first 10 minutes of Moulin Rouge.......too confused. may be it would be more understandable while drinking absinthe!

Susie called Christopher Plummer DELICIOUS! Now that's cute!!!!!!!!!!

Also wanted to poop in and say HAPPY NEW YEAR"S EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's already 2008 in Nikki land! Wonder if she's drunk. :P:lol:

If black seed oil is working for his Afib, stick to it, but if not, I can say that ablation therapy is no big deal--my mother was out of the procedure in about 1 hour and went home that evening, and had zero negative effects from the treatment. PS - I would recommend that your husband get an Apple watch to monitor his Afib--there is an app and it will take readings 24/7 and give reports on how much of the time he's in it. Actual data like this should be what should guide his treatment.

This happened to me as well. What’s weirder is that within a couple hours of taking paxlovid it subsided. I thought maybe I got glutened but after reading your post not so sure.

Hi Tiffany. Thank you for writing your dituation and  circumstancesin such detail and so well writte, too. I particularly noticed what you wrote about brain for and feeling like your brain is swelling and I know from my own experiences that's how it feel and your brain really does swell and you get migraines.    Way back when I was in my 20s I read a book by 2 MD allergist and they described their patient who came in complaining that her brain, inside her cranium, was swelling  and it happened when she smelled a certain chemical she used in her home. She kept coming back and insisting her brain actually swelled in her head. The Drs couldn't explain this problem so they, with her permission, performed an operation where they made a small opening through her cranium, exposed her to the chemical then watched as she brain did swell into the opening. The DRs were amazed but then were able to advise her to avoid chemicals that made her brain swell. I remember that because I occasionally had brain fog then but it was not a serious problem. I also realized that I was becoming more sensitive to chemicals I used in my work in medical laboratories. By my mid forties the brain fog and chemicals forced me to leave my  profession and move to a rural area with little pollution. I did not have migraines. I was told a little later that I had a more porous blood brain barrier than other people. Chemicals in the air would go up into my sinused and leak through the blood brain barrier into my brain. We have 2 arteries  in our neck that carry blood with the nutrients and oxygen into the brain. To remove the fluids and used blood from the brain there are only capillaries and no large veins to carry it away so all those fluids ooze out much more slowly than they came in and since the small capillaries can't take care of extra fluid it results in swelling in the face, especially around the eyes. My blood flow into my brain is different from most other people as I have an arterial ischema, adefectiveartery on one side.   I have to go forward about 20 or more years when I learned that I had glaucoma, an eye problem that causes blindness and more years until I learned I had celiac disease.  The eye Dr described my glaucoma as a very slow loss of vision that I wouldn't  notice until had noticeable loss of sight.  I could have my eye pressure checked regularly or it would be best to have the cataracts removed from both eyes. I kept putting off the surgery then just overnight lost most of the vision in my left eye. I thought at the I had been exposed to some chemical and found out a little later the person who livedbehind me was using some chemicals to build kayaks in a shed behind my house. I did not realize the signifance  of this until I started having appointments with a Dr. in a new building. New buildings give me brain fog, loss of balance and other problems I know about this time I experienced visual disturbances very similar to those experienced by people with migraines. I looked further online and read that people with glaucoma can suffer rapid loss of sight if they have silent migraines (no headache). The remedy for migraines is to identify and avoid the triggers. I already know most of my triggers - aromatic chemicals, some cleaning materials, gasoline and exhaust and mold toxins. I am very careful about using cleaning agents using mostly borax and baking powder. Anything that has any fragrance or smell I avoid. There is one brand of dishwashing detergent that I can use and several brands of  scouring powder. I hope you find some of this helpful and useful. I have not seen any evidence that Celiac Disease is involved with migraines or glaucoma. Please come back if you have questions or if what I wrote doesn't make senseto you. We sometimes haveto learn by experience and finding out why we have some problems. Take care.       The report did not mention migraines.

Hi Jmartes71 That is so much like my story! You probably know where Laytonville is and that's where I was living just before my 60th birthday when the new Dr. suggested I could have Celiacs. I didn't go on a gluten challange diet before having the Celiac panel blood test drawn. The results came back as equivical as one antibody level was very high but another, tissue transaminasewas normal. Itdid show I was  allergic to cows milk and I think hot peppers. I immediately went gluten free but did not go in for an endoscopy. I found an online lab online that would do the test to show if I had a main celiac gene (enterolab.com). The report came back that I had inherited a main celiac gene, DQ8, from one parent and a D!6 from the other parent. That combination is knows to sym[tons of celiac worse than just inheriting one main celiac gene. With my version of celiac disease I was mostly constipated but after going gluten-free I would have diarrhea the few times I was glutened either by cross contamination or eating some food containing gluten. I have stayed gluten-free for almost 20 years now and knew within a few days that it was right for me although my recovery has been slow.   When I go to see a  medical provide and tell them I have celiacs they don't believe me. The same when I tell them that I carry a main celiac gene, the DQ8. It is only when I tell them that I get diarrhea after eating gluten that they realize that I might have celiac disease. Then they will order th Vitamin B12 and D3 that I need to monitor as my B12 levels can go down very fast if I'm not taking enough of it. Medical providers haven't been much help in my recovery. They are not well trained in this problem. I really hope this helps ypu. Take care.
