Love the crutch idea.

Cold and snowy and the cats are very angry with me for doing this to them.

Must go plug in my electric kettle and make some tea.

Yes, yes, must chime in....HAAAAPPPPYYYY BIIIIRTHDAYYYY JOOOOOODYYYYY!!!!

Everyone come!!!! I have a big comfy couch divan, a big screen telly, tiger pig's to go all around, snacks and drinks! It would be GRAND!!

Be there in a bit (don't I wish...sigh). I grew up with 7 brothers and sisters and I really miss the group thing, especially this time of year. How wunnderfull twould be to snuggle and giggle under a tiger pig (my son had a ducky blanket) with tea and snacks and psilliness!

I think I'll pass on flashing the biddies to freeze them! Probably would get arrested for not being indecent enough! Already did the pap thing, our yearly required humiliation. The things that men get to miss! We just are not meant to be pressed into 2 dimensions! If you buy into the theory that causing certain cells to collide in 2 dimensions could cause a black hole.....possibly a gateway into another dimension....well, just think of the consequences. Piles of breasts suddenly appearing in another space-time continuum. What is a "person" in another place supposed to think about that?

SamHill Manhead as the Godfather? What is the world coming to? :o

What exactly is an electric (eclectric?) Kettle? Never heard of one. I gave up the kettle on the stove and cheat with the microwave! Wunnerful things..those microwaves!

Peeaterr....love the image of kitty going to the door over and over. Mine used to do the same. You open the door, they look out, look up at you with pathetic confusion. Go to another door, repeat the process. I used to say that my Ivan was waiting for me to open the door to summer. He couldn't understand why I insisted on opening doors to winter...brrrr. I wish I had a door into summer, whenever I wished. I'd be there year 'round :D

Going for a mamogram this afternoon  Hate it, hate it. Then again, I don't know anyone who enjoys it. Think I'll practice slamming myself in the doorway.....or maybe I'll be so frozen I won't feel it. One can only hope.

I've an idea, Tuhreeesah. You're on the right track with the frozen idea - - you really will not feel anything if yer boobs are frozen...... . .Might I suggest standing outside the medical clinic, just before your appointment, and opening your coat, lifting up your sweater and bra, and letting them be completely exposed for, say, three or four minutes. You will be numb for an hour, perhaps, and will feel no discomfort from the squishing plates.

Yes, this is a grand idea. Must remember to re-jig my yearly appointment so that it falls in January instead of August. . . . . ....

NO!! NO!! NO!! Do not freeze the girls before squishing!!!! . . . Hubby was outside this morning, picked up the hose and it broke in half because it was frozen!!! . . . I would hate for yer breasts to just fall off because they were frozen when they were squished . . . twould probably hurt even more . . . um, when you thawed a bit.

They could use all those missing socks to keep warm.

Darn210 Enthusiast

. . . and I had me an electric kettle for a while when I lived in Cincinnati about 18 years ago. GAH!!!! Probably still do in some box labeled "Stuff from work" that was moved and never opened.

Well. . . . . . I am certain that any man you're gonna talk to would give his first born to be hangin' out in that dimension . . .. ...

You guys don't do electric kettles?! Man....I actually don't own one, but they are a staple in this culture.....just need an outlet, and BANG! Tea!

Oh sillies- having an awphul day here.....me boss yelled at me....actually made me cry...but I did not let her dare see it. She is not going to get that satisifaction! She said awful things like I am draggin her name in the mud and I cannot grasp simple concepts and such....I am shuddering thinking about it.....

Anyway- I am no where near ready for christmas, and not very in the mood for it this year. So much to do with the move and all. Plus money is not something we have an abundance of. We were shopping for the nieces and nephews on Saturday and I am still outraged over the prices of toys! Sheesh!

So anyway still in the deep freeze here..... @ 12:45 it was only 22 degrees!

I may be wrong, but I've a hunch that tea (& boiling water as well) predates electricity. :P

Given that, even *I* used to have an electric kettle, & I'm not even a tea drinker!! (Hence the used to)

Didn't buy it - 'twere a take-home after running the tests at Underwriters Labs.

Dang phorum wouldn't lemme in last night, so . ... . much catching up to do.

Amanda!! I am so sorry to hear about the confrontation with your boss. . . . . ...there is nothing worse. Her behaviour sounds very unprofessional to me - - you are an adult, and no matter what you have done (if anything), you never deserve to be yelled at. Never. BAH! :( Sooooozie's right, however - - this too shall pass!!!

Speaking of Soooooze.....you and Weeze have some caring and nurturing to do over the next few days! The poor thing - - a painful anniversary, and the loss of her job! Jenn is going to be right where she needs to be over Christmas... . ...... :)

MIL's flight was cancelled from Whitehorse to Vancouver due to the blizzard-like conditions out west. BUT.... . .. . that strong, fierce English tenacity came rippling forth, and she got herself on another flight on Air North. So, she's now sitting at the Vancouver airport, waiting for a connecting flight. . . .

She could be tip-toeing in at 2am. Think I will put Sam Hill right in the entrance hall to welcome her.

I do believe that people are under so much pressure up have a sleeping  pattern ,  with working and how households work these days , but in reality there is no wrong or right at to sleep , I believe your neighbour showed this with such a long life , I do exactly the same  at night many times so I hope I live into my nineties also , I have found one thing in life your body knows what's best so good to listen to wat it needs however unconventional that maybe 🤗

Try adding some Thiamine Hydrochloride (thiamine HCl) and see if there's any difference.  Thiamine HCl uses special thiamine transporters to get inside cells.  I take it myself.   Tryptophan will help heal the intestines.  Tryptophan is that amino acid in turkey that makes you sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner.  I take mine with magnesium before bedtime.

I live in the upper mid-west and was just diagnosed with marsh 3c celiac less than a month ago.  As a 51 year old male, I now take a couple of different gluten free vitamins.  I have not noticed any reaction to either of these items.  Both were purchased from Amazon. 1.  Nature Made Multivitamin For Him with No Iron 2.  Gade Nutrition Organic Quercetin with Bromelain Vitamin C and Zinc Between those two, I am ingesting 2000 IU of vitamin D per day. Best of luck, Known1

I am doing a gluten challenge right now and I bought vital wheat gluten so I can know exactly how much gluten I am getting. One tablespoon is 7g so 1½ tablespoons of Vital Wheat Gluten per day will get you to 10g You could add it to bean burgers as a binder or add to hot chocolate or apple sauce and stir.

Raising you vitamin D will increase absorption of calcium automatically without supplementation of calcium.  A high PTH can be caused by low D causing poor calcium absorption; not insuffient calcium intake.  With low D your body is not absorbing calcium from your food so it steals it from your bones.  Heart has priority over bone. I've been taking 10,000 IU D3 a day since 2015.  My doctor says to continue. To fix my lactose intolerance, lots of lactobacillus from yogurts, and brine fermented pickles and saurkraut and olives.  We lose much of our ability to make lactase endogenosly with maturity but a healthy colony of lactobacillus in our gut excretes lactase in exchange for room and board. The milk protein in grass fed milk does not bother me. It tastes like the milk I grew up on.  If I drink commercial milk I get heartburn at night. Some experts estimate that 90% of us do not eat Adequite Intake of choline.  Beef and eggs are the principle source. Iodine deficiency is a growing concern.  I take 600 mcg a day of Liquid Iodine.  It and NAC have accelerated my healing all over.  Virtually blind in my right eye after starting antihypertensive medication and vision is slowly coming back.  I had to cut out starches because they drove my glucose up into the 200+ range.  I replaced them with Red Bull for the glucose intake with the vitamins, minerals and Taurine needed to process through the mitochodria Krebs Cycle to create ATP.  Went from A1c 13 down to 7.9.  Work in progress. Also take B1,B2,B3,B5,B6. Liquid Iodine, Phosphatidyl Choline, Q10, Selenium, D and DHEA.     Choline supplemented as phosphatidylcholine decreases fasting and postmethionine-loading plasma homocysteine concentrations in healthy men +
