I have seen on the internet that you can buy premade puff pastry dough in europe and australia, does anyone know if there is anyone in the USA making this kind of product? its just such an effort to make it yourself... and I dont even know if it would turn out!

Our local Wal-mart and Kroger both carry it.

I just googled gluten free puff pastry the other day and was intrigued by the recipes there. I vowed to try it soon!! One post had photos that really made it appear doable!! I don't see any companies in the States.

Really!!!!! Could you look for the brand name next time you see it and let us know. I know my Wal-mart doesn't have anything like that gluten-free but perhaps I could talk the folks at Wegmans into ordering some. Gosh I miss Baklava and puff pastry fruit pies.

I'm sorry total brain fog this morning. When I noticed the post I remembered how excited I was to find puff pastry when I moved back to the U.S. Sadly I forgot for a moment things like puff pastry have to be prefaced by gluten free now :( I'm 3 weeks in and still getting use to the gluten-free way of thinking.

I'm going to start asking my local gluten free store to see if they can find an importer. I figure if I ask often enough they will find some. If enough people ask it will find it's way to our stores.

Drat!! I was so hopeful. Oh well. The very nature of phyllo makes me think it unlikely that a gluten-free variety will appear soon. Even the old world ladies in my area buy it not make it from scratch as even making the wheat variety is incredibly time consuming.

I have never seen filo dough or puff pastry in my Wal-Mart.....I do know that on the Open Original Shared Link site she has a filo dough to make.

Also , Orgran has a puff pastry mix ( not the pastry & pizza mix) I haven't reid it but maybe someone on here has tried Orgran .....

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
