  1. ROFL when i went gluten-free, I went light on the dairy as well (like 95% DF). When I started back on it a couple months later I was fine. Now I think I might be having a problem with it again. Gonna try DF for awhile, then possibly soy-free if that doesn't help. I think it will help though, because I was using lactaid for the last month, and it...

  7. have you tried that before? getting a document from the manager? i'd be suprised if they'd sign something like that. i think a dr's note would be a good thing. i have heard that visiting with the chef/manager before the meal is a good thing. don't know if you'd have time to that day. maybe a call? that's hilarious! i'm not sure...

  10. I'm just feeling frustrated because I keep feeling sick, but can't make myself quit dairy quite yet. I'm so sad at the prospect of losing cheese and chocolate. What's the best way to get around these things? I already feel so deprived that I binge on whatever goodies I make. Now the looming diet change is making me feel it even more. How do you all cope?
  11. what's tofruitti? also, anyone have a good cheese-like substitute?
  12. When I get glutened, my BM's go to one for a day or two then to the complete opposite for a couple more days. Always thought it was weird
  13. i usually cry this is a hot topic of debate between me and my husband. i was under the impression that once you get gluten in your system, a crumb or a foot long sandwich will cause the same reaction. that being said, if i know i've been glutened, i say why stop? but he says that the more i have in my system, the worse my reaction will be. seems like...
