  1. Dark blue means current topic with new replies, light blue is current topic with no new replies, dark red is hot topic with new replies, light red is hot topic with no new replies. <-------not to bright at cpu stuff, either.
  2. Oh, you poor darlings!
  3. Ultram is on the glutenfree list.
  4. WooHoo! I made it to the party! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
  5. Tiffany, your conversation with your husband sounds like me and my husband, except with him it's his precious tv, and I refuse to get off my cpu just to please him! I have found it is more like cutting off my nose to spite my face if I do that.
  6. It sounds like you have a respiratory allergy, and that Advair and Singulair are not the right drugs to help you with it. I use Actifed for mine.
  7. Barq's Root Beer is very proud of their glutenfree status. You were not glutened by it. You could be intolerant to some of the other flavorings they use, as you are describing the same symptoms I get whenever I drink Barq's. I now drink Natural Brew root beer.
  8. You have your peace sign up, you say that no one is any better than any one else, and yet I am reading an "I'm holier and more peaceful than you" attitude in your posts. I am not a hippy, I am a free-speaking liberal. I will speak what is on my mind. I have that privilege, just as you do. If you don't like what I have to say, you also have the privilege...
  9. I have medical tags for other allergies, so I added celiac to it. If I only had celiac for it, I don't think I would go to the expense of buying a tag.
  10. What the doc says is the due date and what the due date really is are very often two different things. My first was induced on the due date, but it didn't take. She wasn't born until a full month later. It sounds as though it really was not your time, but the doc made it time. I don't think it has anything to do with being celiac.
  11. This post comes across as being argumentative, as if the poster wants to fight. I don't see where this is helpful at all.
  12. Happy birthday, have a safe and fun trip! Let us know how it went when you return!
  13. I am in college right now, studying to be a Certified Public Accountant, and I know for certain that if I made claims like yours with no references and citations to back up what I am saying, I would be kicked out of college. Please, as Scott asks, give us references. We do go read them, that is how we learn.
  14. Isn't it so frustrating!?! They tell you they're making it better, but they are only making it worse. Will regular spray bottles work for oil, or do I need a special one?
  15. If you feel better on a glutenfree diet, there is no reason not to stick with it. You don't need a doctor's diagnosis to eat in a manner that makes your body and mind feel hearty and hale. It could be that you did not have enough damage to show up on tests, or you could be intolerant instead of celiac.
  16. I can't eat eggs at all, so I would just leave out the xanthan and the eggs, and eat all I wanted.
  17. This is interesting to hear. It would definitely explain why I have symptoms as I struggle to lose weight. I get discouraged and want to quit because I start feeling better, then start feeling worse. I will just have to hang in there, with the understanding that my body is probably releasing fat-stored toxins.
  18. Courtney, your theory is right on the money. Every little glutening starts the damage cycle over again, so the time to full recovery starts over again. The longer you are able to go between accidental glutenings, the more healing you will do, so even the accidental damage won't be as much of a setback. It's kind of like taking three steps forward, and...
  19. Yep, my biggest problem is that I will touch my skin or hair, then touch my food without thinking about what I'm doing.
  20. For fresh applesauce, I don't even cook the apples. I just put them in a blender and have at it. Yummy! You might also try drying some apples, my kids loved the dried apple slices for snacking on after school. They also enjoyed dried pear slices.
  21. I use liquid B complex. I put 1/2 tsp in a cup of crangrape juice morning and evening. If I don't, then I don't sleep very well, and I eat like a hog. It is amazing, isn't it, what a little bit of a vitamin does for us!
  22. Thank you, Scott, from the very bottom of my soul.
  23. I'm sorry I can't help you. I hope someone is able to soon!
