  1. Hi, Pita, welcome to the board! Your wife could still be "cleaning out" her body, since she has only been on the diet for a month. It could also be, as someone already said, that she is in a state of shock about how drastically her eating has changed, and is not eating enough. I hope she stabilizes soon!
  2. WooHoo!!
  3. You might want to try making mini-muffins instead of full-size. Using a smaller pan worked wonders for my cupcakes!
  4. My friend's boxer loves to play, but not fetch. My lab mix likes to play keepaway the best. My puppy just likes to run and jump.
  5. >sigh< As if grocery shopping isn't hard enough! Thanks for the heads-up.
  6. I am allergic to eggs, so I don't even mess with which part. Baking is hard, but it can be done. I use ground flax, gelatin, and extra baking soda/powder for substitutes.
  7. Thanks for the recipe!

  9. Pain? Yep, pain. When I get glutened, it feels like my gut is being ripped out, and it lasts for several days. I can't move, sit, stand, or lie down. I was amazed the last time it happened, I fully expected to find massive amounts of blood in my stool, it hurt so bad. There was none, thankfully, but I would not have been surprised. Welcome, Mike...
  10. I went to the aquafina website: Open Original Shared Link they don't tell you what's in their water, only that it has 4 ppm of total dissolved solids. That means it has junk in it, just like the other brands. Instead of hollering about a specific brand, just find what you can drink, and buy it. If you can't drink the water on a long flight, drink something...

  12. I'm a college student in Kansas. You might not count me, though. I'm 42 and going to Colorado Tech Online. I live in southeast Kansas, 20 miles south of Pittsburg.
  13. Purified water with minerals is still water. It just doesn't have bacteria and parasites in it.
  14. Your colleague purposely exposed you to a germ that was known to make people sick. That is a form of bio-terrorism. Your colleague also used a minor to do that. That is child abuse. For that, your colleague should be in jail. Go to your supervisor, before you become an accessory after the fact to the abuse.
  15. Well, Armetta, you are absolutely gorgeous! So is what little we can see of Lynne and Chris!
  16. I also hope you are able to sleep tonight when you go to bed!
  17. Nope. My daughter and I both had our gall bladders removed laparoscopically, with no problems like what you are describing. My belly button scar is pinker and bubbly on one end, but it doesn't protrude.
  18. Play cpu games, read books, do homework, clean the house...
  19. This is where you lost me!
  20. It went down sometime last night. I was in mid-post, but decided it wasn't worth rewriting!
  21. When I reached the last one on the workpoops, I laughed until I puked! My husband's name is Todd, and he always makes such a big deal of his "two-flushers" and bathroom funkers!
  22. I didn't have any pain in my gut after my biopsy, but someone else might be more sensitive. If a lot of samples were taken, that would make it hurt more, maybe. It could also be that he is eating different food, and his gut needs time to adjust to it. I do hope he starts feeling better soon!
  23. Could be a muscular problem. I used to get that kind of pain in my right arm, with swelling in my shoulder. It turned out to be spasming muscles pulling my cervical spine out of line, which caused the nerves to get pinched. You really should see your doctor, as there can be many causes for this, and treatment could be as easy as stretches. Your doctor...
  24. Don't apologize. Someone else that can use the mixes will see your recipes, and benefit from your experimenting. It is good that you posted them.
  25. I'm sorry I don't have any help to offer. Your case sounds like a very severe one to me. I will offer hugs and prayers, though. ♥♥♥
