  1. I've never been on that website. I'll make sure not to!
  2. I so 'love' the woman filming who kept saying no and doing nothing... Hello? I just might have to track that awesome little doggy down.....
  3. Awwww, I sorry, I know that feeling. Can you do bananas? That helps some people. I'm a freak, I eat spicy food when I don't feel good.
  4. Is coconut and coconut milk ok? You could put coconut milk in ice cube trays and make banana smoothies with that, be very thick and a good way to eat the bananas in the state that you're supposed to. Coconut is also full of fiber. Can you bake with coconut flour? This would require many eggs, no sub for eggs with coconut flour, so I don't know if eggs...
  5. Thanks for posting this. Hubby's been asking for a white cheesecake with chocolate mint swirl/candies/ and chocolate crust.I picked up a package of honey sweetened mint chocolates at Trader Joe's last time I was there and hid them as a surprise. Think I'll do that this week, just as a something special for Tuesday!
  6. I know, it says so right on the package I get from Trader Joe's!
  7. It may just be this person's verbiage. Everyone writes differently, cooks are no exception.
  8. Well, the frozen ones are what I'm having the problem with. But maybe they have superpowers too..... Anybody put frozen mango in their smoothie? I did once, it tasted great. I think it was mango banana berry....
  9. It doesn't clog the blades, it more gets thrown up the edges without actually blending. Maybe they're just too light to stay near the blades.
  10. How many people you feedin with that there recipe, porkypants? Do you find your blender has trouble with the frozen strawberries? Mine leaves little chunks, irritates me. Only does it with strawberries, any other fruit or ice it destroys...
  11. So I got a nasty headache before bed last night and figured I'd sleep it off. I hardly ever get headaches. Still there this morning. I'm so hydrated I'm peeing every hour on the hour, I've had Advil, a coffee, a huge fat and protein filled breakfast, and a green apple. Why won't my headache go away?
  12. I'm still waiting for my blueberry ketchup esplanation!!! Today I had leftover ground beef and rice fried in butter with leeks and spices and parmesan cheese for breakfast. I like dinner for breakfast!
  13. I used to get these aphthous ulcers inside my mouth or throat regularly, and they cleared completely after going gluten free. I got them again once when I tried using a particular toothpaste, which did not gluten me, so I have to think chemical sensitivity must also be involved. Those things SUCK! I used to eat a bunch of tomato sauce when I got them...
  14. My new favorite smoothie- frozen pineapple, whole plain yogurt, orange juice, vanilla extract. Oh yeah baby.... It's kind of like a pineapple-y orange creamsicle smoothie.
  15. See! You know everything! Dessert last night was an early bedtime. I love when that happens....
  16. I'll bring the sausage gravy and homemade ranch dressing!
  17. Dance, I really, truly, sincerely adore your 'quote'. (That thing that goes at the bottom of all you posts. Don't know what it is technically referred to as. Irish will!)
  18. What if you did a few sliced apples, cup of honey, stick of butter, melt all in the bottom of the crockpot, spice it up, and then add a yellow cake?
  19. Love in an Elevator- Aerosmith
  20. Crap on a cracker, huh? Sounds yummy....
  21. Have you tried honey lemon tea? It's been proven in some small studies that honey is more effective than any cough medicine. You could just have a spoonful of honey. I also like cherry bark extract/tincture, works really good on me, every time. I have to usually get the kid one because the regular one has grain alcohol. Tastes good, too!
  22. Purple! Nice to see you! How ya been? OP, try Elana's pantry. Lotsa good recipes for coconut and almond flour, and really good recipes for almond butter. Love baking with almond butter.
  23. Oh, you're goin down, sister. The ninjas have been dispatched.
  24. I am eating a dish full of De Puma s manicotti. Oh yeah baby.... This guy's good.
