  1. So how do you infuse rice with lemon? Just sprinkle the juice on, use the rind, what? That sounds so good! Maybe lemon basil? Anywhoo, I made cheese lasagna in the crockpot last night! It works great! Does fall apart a bit scooping the edges, never was good at getting a lasagna to hold together. Really intensifies the flavors, it was almost too tomato...
  2. I just mean I have enough hobbies/habits/addictions that suck the time out of my day, last thing I need is another fun thing! Ha!
  3. Hey, first time I went a whole week with normal poo I had a party. I get it!
  4. Oh... I don't have a phone that has 'apps'.... Yay! One more timesucking activity I won't allow myself to get addicted to!
  5. When I was a kid I'd make tuna fish salad and make a sandwich and put jelly on it. Made my mother cringe... I think the kid who put whip cream on his hot dog wins though. The other combos don't seem wierd to me. Who doesn't love peanut butter banana sammiches?
  6. I like Vikingfjord, potato vodka. When drinking I tend to prefer it as even red wine has too much sugar for me.
  7. My dad died of leukemia, I'm pretty sure due to undiagnosed Celiac. Were I symptomless, that would be enough to keep me on the straight and narrow. My grandmother's sister, my mother's sister, my mother's father, my mother's cousin, my best friend's father, and my father all died of cancer. With all of that I have learned exactly how much doctors DON...
  8. Guacamole with olive oil potato chips. Fried onions. Sweet potato with dark meat chicken. Curry beef stew. Cucumber or salad with homemade ranch dressing. Peppery homemade chicken noodle soup. Fried apples. I have a long list!
  9. Last night was scrambled eggs with salsa and diced avocado. And bagel with cream cheese.
  10. Yeah, but for clothes, people don't usually like to let you use their potty to try stuff on to see if it fits your big fat white butt.....
  11. I LOVE secondhand stuff. Not only do jeans fit my big butt better when someone else has broken them in, but someone in China didnt have to slave over a new pair. And where else could I get Levi's for 4$? Since the fire I think I've bought exactly six 'brand-new' articles of clothing (excepting socks n undies). Five of which were on clearance... :lol...
  12. I bet the hasselback potatoes (minus the bread crumbs) would be really good with sweet potatoes.....
  13. I would say all of the above. And butter. But I'm an overachiever. And maybe lay off the pork chop sales from now on... Holy crap what an awesome idea!!!! Those look so cool!
  14. Good thing I'm not a zombie!!!!!
  15. In their heads!
  16. I wanna say this sounds kinda like when I get glutened, I am lactose intolerant until I'm over it. Lasts a few weeks, and the PAIN. Oh lord, I literally cried out in pain. Never done that for any reason before. So maybe it's a lactose thing? Are you dairy free?
  17. My first thought was that you may be dealing with a severe candida or other yeast/fungal overgrowth. It may what's causing your skin and intestinal symptoms. Do you get filmy white stuff on your tongue and corners of your lips in the morning? Have you ever had a genital yeast infection or bad case of foot fungus? Are your hands painful?
  18. Hey, that sounds good.... Tonight is: garlic chicken sausage and onions slow sauteed in butter oven roasted purple&white potatoes Chebe with Italian seasoning and garlic powder Notme!, I just have to say, everytime I'm on the board home page, when you're the last one who posted here, I see on the right "What's for...
  19. Good punch line!
  20. Because of the diet, or the time you spend online? Perhaps he should do some reading here.
  21. 'Cannot' and 'will not' are different. If an adult is capable of holding down a job, driving a vehicle, caring for children, doing their taxes.... They are capable of understanding Celiac. They are choosing not to.
  22. Geez, two of them? Now I feel like a tramp....
  23. You can shop for a new best friend among those that actually made an effort during your trip. Noone needs to feel the way she made you feel. At this point it's up to you to get healthy, which includes ending toxic relationships.
  24. DH (dermatitis herpetiformis) is generally accepted as a definitive diagnosis of Celiac. My GI doc did a lame one-sample check during endoscopy for Celiac and no bloodwork, the sample came back negative (shocker!) However, based on my dramatic illness, dramatic improvement gluten free (sound familiar, OP?) and the horrible, itchy rash I get when glutened...
