  1. Just keep in mind that they add MSG to their steaks. If that doesn't give you heartburn or headaches, then you're all set, if you order a steak, this is
  2. Yeah, they were pretty good (I sampled one already, hehe).
  3. Haha. We're having buckwheat chocolate chip pancakes with blueberries, maple syrup (not really...bought some cheap other kind, but in a perfect world...),and turkey bacon.
  4. Thanks, Ashley. This does look good. I have never thought about cooking cabbage that way. I may try it soon. Take care.
  5. Wow. That looks very good and rich. What is egg snow? Is that when you whip the whites? Did you mean to add the snow to the egg yolks (because the whites would be already whipped)?
  6. What is whole cane sugar? Can you sub regular white sugar? If so, in the same amt.?
  7. Take care of yourself and be well soon.
  8. Chives from your garden? Sounds good.
  9. That's the brand. Unfortunately, they DO contain msg under a Camouflaged name. Can't remember which one they used.
  10. Thanks for that recipe. What do you use in place of pretzels? The only gluten-free brand that I know about uses msg, so doesn't work for moi.
  11. I have used both of those brands and been very happy with the results
  12. Not cooking tonight. Eating at Maggiano's Italian restaurant and ordering off their gluten free menu to celebrate my HQ credentias being restored to me for passing the NTE years ago. YEH!
  13. Cool. So you could actually sub tapioca flour for the cornstarch?
  14. Coffeecake, the BEST I have ever had, coffee. YUM!
  15. In my opinion, teff flour does not add much along the lines of taste, but it does help with the structure.
  16. This looks really GOOD, Ben. Wow. Thanks for posting this recipe. I've been wanting a good gluten-free meatloaf recipe. Will try this soon. Need to dry out some gluten-free bread for breadcrumbs first. Thanks again
  17. Is this the flour blend from gluten-free Girl? I saw where she said she tweeked her flour blend for a cookie in Dec. 2010 on her website, but wasn't sure if this is her "go to" flour blend or if it was just tweeked for the cookie recipe. 200 grams superfine brown rice flour 150 grams sorghum flour 50 grams potato flour 250 grams sweet rice flour 1...
  18. That looks really goood. I will try it, as well. What curry sauce do you use?
  19. Very innovative! You know, the gluten-free lifestyle definitely brings out our creative side, doesn't it
  20. The one thing that helps me THE MOST is to clean out my refrigerator. Throw away all of the bad or old stuff, THEN WASH DOWN everything inside and all the racks with hot, soapy water. Organize the good food back inside the fridge in a way that makes sense to me, e.g. I have one whole shelf that is all gluten-free flours. Foods that will go bad quickly...
