    Haven't seen anyone mention that it can be good, just in general, to let a specialist take a look under the hood, so to speak, since we already know things haven't been well. I feel better knowing I've got a baseline eval available for future comparison.

    Nope. You're right about the part that it's significant that your immune system has never had a break from gluten. There's no need to increase your gluten intake beyond the 'some every day' you're already getting. Good luck w/ the testing!

    I'm wondering which type of Amy's because I think I used to see posts questioning cc in Amy's frozen foods but almost never the canned ones. There's a canned Amy's gluten-free organic southwest chili I've had plenty of times w/out a problem.

    I've been eating Tjoe's almond butter regularly w/out issue for probably 6 yrs. Mostly the Crunchy, tho I doubt creamy vs crunchy is a factor. This label has the shared equipment warning for peanuts, tree nuts & soy. No mention of wheat. I don't know if an organic one should be any different w.r.t. shared equipment. Isn't it a voluntary declaration...

    I think the main thing right now for you is to INSIST on celiac testing before trying gluten-free, or the testing will become ineffective. Oh dang, just saw that you may have already had the appt today. How'd it go?

    If it didn't cause an intolerable or even highly significant rise in symptoms, I suppose that's what I'd do, but I usually shy away from giving specific recommendations. I've seen occasional but rare posts of ppl affected longer term, after the challenge, who might regret doing it, but don't recall specifics of their early challenge symptoms. Celiac testing...

    I think it's safe to say it'd be more unpleasant if you were re-introducing gluten after feeling increasingly healthier during weeks or months 100% gluten-free. (Slight assumption in there on it being celiac) You did say you never really went gluten-free, right? That'd be why it's not particularly unpleasant.

    Yeah, I thought it'd be easy to check glutenfreedrugs.com too. Apparently Greenstone was one of 3 mfgs when it started going generic in 2006. A thread here from '06-'11 at least doesn't have anyone saying they reacted, tho it looks like Lupin wasn't in the game yet. I see Lupin mentioned as mfg of OTHER generics, but wow this really sucks...

    Looks pretty good so far. (Some parts under progress) From what I've seen it's all post-Dx info. The Level 1, 2, 3 architecture could work pretty well, letting ppl easily choose how detailed the info is for each topic. Open Original Shared Link
