  1. There is a link above that I googled Nampa and got Darcy's bakery. Gluten free wedding cakes, cinnamon rolls...not sure what else and Wingers is over there too. There is a health food store with gluten-free products, near the Hong Kong restaurant, in downtown Nampa, that our nurse told us about. I forgot the name of it.

She says she puts "dog poo" in it, you can't tell its in the brownies but would you want to eat it?? That's how deceiving sin is. It looks good at the time but more then "stinks...
  11. Can I add a question to this? My dd just broke out with a cream from the health food store that she had no problems with before (new jar). Not sure about the ingredient list at this time, could be a new formula or allergic to something else. So I was wondering what she can get from a grocery store that is gluten-free?? How about Spaghetti Salad? cooked and cooled spaghetti large bottle zesty Italian salad dressing or make your own, Kraft has sugar in it small can sliced olives chopped red onion chopped, diced or shredded veggies: carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, celery, green onions... Mix up and chill well, add more dressing...

  15. I agree with the "Thingees", we called them barbells. Just load up a meat and cheese and fruit tray and set out the tooth picks. Smokies if they are gluten-free, I haven't checked, with cheese chunks and pineapple...yum! A crockpot of beanie wienies or shredded BBQ chicken for gluten-free buns.

  18. That happened to me when I was giving birth to my first. I had induced labor and was sooo out of it but when they lessened the pitosin (sp?) I was "normal" again. Sorry off topic but your post jogged a memory from 20 yrs ago. People that take thyroid meds have to adjust it often too.

What we had recently or will have soon, that meets your needs: Spaghetti Nachos /Tacos with spanish rice and beans, avocados, green onions, olives and tomatoes Beans and ham in the crockpot Meatless chili in the crockpot with tortilla chips or fritos Hamburgers (leave off the bun) Nachos again...easy and we love them...with refried beans and more...
  20. I want to see what others say about this. My MIL (70ish) has always had asthma and she bakes almost everyday. She has never been tested and my 2 dd's are both allergic to wheat. I am not allergic but my dh has allergies (dh not tested for wheat allergy/celiac).

  23. Way to go!!! Question...is the cheese df? I haven't checked into the df cheese much. We tossed one and used all of another but my dd said it was only ok. gluten-free and df pasta sauce for pasta or pizza sounds like a real winner! Congrats!
