  1. It's been 3 years and I'm the same. I agree completely. Also watch out for cross contamination when you buy these things. Sea scallops got me recently. I should have asked him to change his gloves before handling my scallops. But then again, what if the last guy didn't?
  2. Thank goodness for Cat Deeley, the host of "So You Think You Can Dance". It is nice to see a women with a smaller bust in the limelight. We come in all sizes. I also got huge when I was nursing. It was nice to get a taste of that because it made me appreciate being smaller.
  3. Did you see the recent Tricia Thompson study about gluten free grain cross contamination? Open Original Shared Link It could be that you are a more sensitive celiac and this contamination is bothering you. It might also occur with other processed foods. I am very sensitive and do much better with almost all non processed foods. I only eat fresh...
  4. I have had problems with airborne flour. It gave me a gluten reaction. There was a post about this here recently.
  5. There are lots of girls and women in your place. Why do you think that they make padded bras? They even make silicone inserts to put in your bra. Then, of course there is the huge silicone implant industry. How many in Hollywood looked like they do before surgery? It can be hard to accept your body for what it is. Just remember that it could be a lot...
  6. I got more sensitive to smaller amounts of gluten as time went on. I have read about others too. Can you do all your own cooking so that you can be really careful yourself? Some of us have problems with grain cross contamination. Some of us have problems with things made on shared lines. It sounds like you need to clean up your diet a bit. Maybe first...
  7. Were you drunk, stoned, or smoking cigarettes? Perhaps so mentally ill that you might purposely harm their children. I'm pretty overprotective, and yet, I let total strangers hold my baby. (Maybe I shouldn't have though, my youngest got pretty stranger shy.)
  8. That wasn't true for me. Repeated hits did not show up in my blood work.
  9. If you react to it, don't eat it. Some of us react to foods that other's of us don't. We have varying sensitivities to trace gluten. Some don't appear to react to anything at all. I can't eat peanut butter, but I can eat peanuts that I shell myself.
  10. Have you seen all the posts in here lately about the Tricia Thompson study which found contamination of gluten free grains? Maybe try not eating grains for awhile and see if that helps. It helped me. You can get negative blood work while eating small amounts of gluten. That happened to me too.
  11. My son and I both reacted to gluten free rice chex.
  12. I'm afraid that even the best sources of whole grains that I have found sometimes have gluten containing grains in them. I look through them and remove anything suspicious before my washing and drying procedure. That being said, I suggest Twin Valley Mills for sorghum. They clean their harvester for 2 days before using it to harvest sorghum. I would...
  13. That study just confirmed what I already knew. I am pretty reactive.
  14. My abs don't look like that last guy, but I haven't ever noticed increased inflammation after ab workouts. I usually do crunches every night.
  15. You can wash, dry, and grind your own flour. It isn't that hard. I started with an inexpensive coffee grinder and then moved to a more expensive flour mill.
  16. I have the same issue. I buy my gluten free grains whole and sort them. I find the odd grain that looks like wheat. I remove it. Then I wash, dry and grind for baking. I can eat the grains that way. I seem to be sensitive to the allowed levels. I can't even eat the certified stuff, though I do better with the stuff from Australia as your limits are...
  17. I am also hypersensitive to gluten. I stopped taking vitamins completely. I felt way better. Weird, you would think that the vitamins should be making me feel better, not worse. I don't take any meds. Hopefully I won't have to. I just switched from instant coffee to organic beans and that helped a lot too. I stick to unprocessed foods and minimal...
  18. Try prunes or dried figs. Hope it works.
  19. Glad you are doing better. Something I have done with grains. Buy whole, sort and remove suspicious looking grains. Wash, dry and grind. It's a pain, but seemed to work. Unfortunately certified didn't work for me. The allowed levels seem to be too high.
  20. My son developed DH when he had a lot of sugar. I tried it and got D. We switched to honey and were fine.
  21. My son had all sorts of behavioral problems prior to diagnosis that went away gluten free. Also rashes. Now he gets DH when glutened.
  22. Maybe you could get into growing gluten free grains free from cross contamination. There is a real need. Do you have your own harvesting equipment?
  23. Sorry that happened. I haven't chanced it for some time. Too chicken. I get glutened enough as it is.
  24. Being gluten free made my UTI's stop happening. Hope the same will happen to you.
  25. Exhaustion was one of the symptoms that I had before diagnosis that went away when I ate gluten free. It still comes back when I get accidentally glutened. You either need more time to heal, or you need to make you diet more gluten free, or it's something else as mentioned above.
