I think it is great you want to make your own flour blends & etc....with that being said , holidays very near & I'm guessing you are very new to celiac disease...There is a learning curve to this & I can honestly say one does not learn it overnight, it is a continuing process for a while... -
I'm not sure how true this is but I read that the biopsy should not be done on the lesion but beside it on clear skin. I don't quite understand that but it was printed somewhere in my reading....

yes, to what Kareng stated! there can be as many as 300 symptoms that could be an issue for people. Meaning celiac is like a chameleon not everyone has the same issues, the same amount of illness, same healing time, some doctors just haven't learned the full spectrum of celiac or being sensitive.... If one has a peanut allergy then don't eat anything with lupin flour.... Lupin flour is a high protein source .....as with any thing some people may have a reaction while others do not.... IE; I react strongly to MSG while others have no problem.... -

DON'T go gluten free until after testing for celiac.....you results will not be accurate......you need to be eating wheat for proper results.... You can thicken gravy by using corn starch... jarred gravy contains wheat... -
