Many gluten-free bakers start out selling at their group meeting...most would know you & be willing to buy... But state & local laws can be rough in some places.How close is the nearest gluten-free bakery? Many states...

did they take several biopsies when you had the endo done? I too am thyroidless from RAI...plus several other autoimmune disorders...it appears once your get one autoimmune more follows..... You can develop sensitivity at any time... There are many who only have anemia & docs put hem on a gluten-free diet.... Lost... -

there are several places to get tested for foods allergies....Not sure if all insurances would pay for it... have you thought about the roughage you consumed. some of the healthy foods can cause problems for us sensitive people. You had lots of nuts, split peas, kale, lentils..... that would be way to much for me.... Other things... -

hope things pass quickly ( no pun intended)....... a suggestion would be to take gluten ease or something similar before going out to any function that you don't know for sure about CC...it will not stop the reaction but may help ease the reaction some...I've been glutened by a family member for my 60 th b-day celebration...... -

I think one of the hardest lessons in life is: we can't fix everything & make it all better ie: loosing a loved one to cancer for instant..... Do consider that you are having issues because you are still knew to the gluten-free ....not everyone gets better at t he same rate...some have a quick turn-a-round others it...

remember how hard it is to understand this illness even, celiac folks have trouble understanding this at the beginning...as annoying as being asked constantly how you are someone truly loves you & cares for your well being....& if they are not experiencing the symptoms how could they understand when at times...

Mu suggestion as an old time celiac(10+ years) would be to carry a gluten-free food pack with you for an emergency in your luggage.....and research , research, research the places where you will be traveling....in this day & age most places in the world gluten-free food can be found... -

We have had two kids with celiac from grade school up to now high school.....I don't truly understand why but many teachers love to reward the students with candy, junk food*!*! what's wrong with that ? What's wrong with a new pencil or a non-food item... Kids in grade school usually have a B-day party with every kid... -
