My gluten-free last day eating will be a greasy pizza hut pan pizza & a local bakery makes a roll called a kiffel.... Now, I make twinkies all the time I will share the recipe with you if you want.. The twinkie pan isn't costly.....so you will not have to wait until your last day on earth.......they are just like the real... -
So will now the whole family be gluten free? Honestly for us it made it easier.. NOt that we wanted any of the kids to have any illness.. we all want the perfect healthy child...Convenience is what we all miss no matter how long we've had celiac... Wheat, rye & Barley of course you know are off limits.... It may have not hit you this time but with continued use it may be the worse stuper /mess you ever got yourself into.... just another reason why using drugs is BAD!!!!!! white vinegar & apple cider vinegar in the US are gluten-free... It's vinegars like flavored & doctored up ones you need to look at carefully... If a product is made in the US & contains vinegar I don't worry about it.. I do look at all flavored ones & ones from outside the US>....years ago everyone said ... -
I think you know who you should trust & who not to... But asking is okay but can cause hard feelings esp if its an old time celiac!!!! But ask anyway... I run a support group & whenever anyone brings in gluten-free food I tell them they have to bring in the ingredients to share & I have a disclaimer ... everyone...

sorry for what you have been through, rough going.......You do what you need to do to get better ... Many of us have made our own dx's and never looked back.... if you are a person who goes gluten-free without a formal dx's , get feeling better & then start to question if you truly needed to go gluten-free then by all... -
We love Red Robin but Five guys burgers we think has a weird taste, at least in our area.....I just don't trust Taco Bell... our Taco bell has Pizza Hut in with it...

I have used these bags for years & never did they catch fire but thats not to say it couldn't happen....I've seen people use parchment paper in their oven & catch it on fire.....and if a wire inside the toaster is broke then most certainly it would catch fire..... I do think they are made to take the heat from... -

for traveling I find the toasta bags are great. Now I only use them while I'm traveling.....I wash mine & reuse as I have the ones that are good for 300 uses... If I make an english muffin maybe I will just shake & damp wipe it out but if I throw in bread & cheese for grilled cheese I always wash it... -

celiac testing a waste of time!!!!! I suggest a new doctor..... When you get to a derm doc please ask again to be tested for the full celiac panel of blood work....I know of someone whose doctor said just about the same thing, so for a year of running to different doctors & going crazy with rashes & at times extreme... -
When you get invited to weddings & such they are usually catered by a chef... Just call the place & ask to speak to the caterer or the chef... These days almost all know about a gluten-free meal... I just contacted a motel who was hosting a expensive wedding & he said oh no problem ,,, he said this is so common...

The big online "A" store has toasta bags.... they are great.. I carry them with me on trips.... There are several makes... Some are good for ten uses others for up to to 300 uses...I use them for breakfast or lunches.... I take bagels, bread or muffins & toast in the hotel café area....I have also taken waffles, pre-... -

I feel we as celiac people never want to encourage someone to do something that we know will bring them harm... we become protectors ...we see the dangers..... I think it is human nature for us to want to protect... Would I tell a drug addict that ...

We love Comfort Bars.......but you have to mailorder... they are coated in Italian Chocolate...... Not sure what all , you avoiding but a few other bars are Quest , pure fit, Chia & many more.... Jerky, cheese & crackers, veggies with a side of dip, hummus & crackers.wild salmon or tuna, protein shakes, fruit, oatmeal...
