  4. I think you have already answered your own question.....You feel much worse when eating gluten. You feel much better when NOT consuming gluten.. You are an adult & know your body reactions better than anyone including the medical field .... If you don't need the medical board's seal of approval to be gluten-free...
  5. I react to the sulphites in wine, which is very common for many people.. Sulphite free wine doesn't bother me....
  6. costco carries Rudi"s gluten-free bread in the freezer section. I like to freeze gluten-free bread if I'm not going to use it within a couple days.....I always put a sheet of wax paper between slices so I can take out only what I can use at once.....saves a bunch of dollars by not wasting a whole loaf of bread...

  10. I've been to many receptions of sorts , only one had a gluten-free menu with a couple of appetizers not gluten-free....Most were family & friends events that know my gluten-free restrictions.   11. I would ask for the full celiac panel, an endo with biospies ( at least three)... Not knowing how young you are I think if you are school age or college age you need to have some documentation for that reason... But if the doctor says you are gluten sensitive there is no testing available at present for that ...

  17. Yes, people go through all kinds of issues while the body detoxes itself....Plus you may go through pain, sadness, anger, denial, grieving & so on.. It's all normal & it will go away....You will also learn to hear what your body is saying through this process...Down the road you may find other things that cause you problems...

  20. Flax seed should not be eaten as a whole seed....on the other hand Chia Seeds can be eaten as is for a snack...tho I don't eat them that way but others love them as a snack. For me it was like eating a mouthful of paste/gum & hard to choke down. when whole..I do put chia in my grinder & use in everything...

  23. As with any chain restaurant some people don't or didn't get the memo.......!!!!! When this happens a nice call to the corporate office is what is needed so they can correct the problem with the ones who are not complying with corporate protocals..... As with any dining out gluten-free experience none are 100% safe...

Not sure what is in your area but zoupa has a gluten-free menu..Autisic children do have a limited selection but working with a therapist has truly helped my friend's child..
