I rotate my long term food supply but it is 20- 25 shelf life but it consists of veggies dehyrated, meats, rice & things like that.. Much of the long term foods are things we as gluten-free can not eat like the asian meals, spaghetti...

Hamburger Gravy over gluten-free noodles, potatoes or rice.. 1# lean burger 1onion chopped, fine 2-3 garlic cloves minced salt & pepper parsley cook fully until juice is mostly gone from meat, add 2 cans Progresso gluten-free Mushroom soup & slow simmer until hot.. Serve over 1of the above...

  15. All Boar's Head deli meats are labeled as well as Dietz & Watson deli meats. Both excellent !. Plain old Heinz vinegars are gluten-free except for Malt vinegar.... I make our homemade sauerkraut but to date I have never seen kraut that wasn't okay to eat. They do put perservatives in bought kraut...usually kraut is just cabbage...

  18. Welcome I haven't alot of time tonight to write but did you know there are people who have silent celiac? They have no symptoms at all...... celiac is an autoimmune disease & at present the only way of treating it is by strictly following the gluten free lifestyle.. I don't like calling it a diet because for many it is a lifestyle...

You need to do the leg-work before hand...By not knowing where to eat or which places you will be wasting time searching & looking for places where as if it was already completed you can be spending more time enjoying the park...   21. shared fryers? This question needs to be asked at every Fast Food Joint!.. I'm still trying to get a straight answer on when these places filter the oil & reuse,do they mix the dedicated fryer oil with the regular fryer oils? If this is true then we could still have big CC issues.. I honestly don't know & I can't get a straight...

  23. I believe the pills your daughter's friend is speaking of is maybe Glutenease or one of those type pills.. Many people get the idea that this is a pass to eat gluten but it is NOT... These pills were designed to help the after bomb when some accidentally gets glutened...Some find they help with all the issues after a glutening...
  24. Water Chesnuts wrapped in bacon! Stuffed mushroom caps.... bisquick(gluten-free) sausage cheese balls... Spinach balls...salami, pepperoni cheese roll-ups....Brushetta on gluten-free baguette rounds ( or use baby Mum Mums sold at Wal-Mart in the baby section... we adults love these little kids crackers.. Stuffed hot peppers....baby ruebens...
