what exactly are you doing? I can say with detox one usually feels worse at first because you are ridding your body of toxic junk.It can cause physcial, emotional feelings... until all the poision is out of your system. blessings mamaw

You are doing well for the short time you have been gluten-free. It's odd to find out we all thought nothing was wrong with us & then something happens & our bodies go haywire ..It's almost like the devil was waiting to snatch us up & make us miserable! Bertille buns are the best!..Of course now Udi's & Rudi's plus canyon bakehouse all have gluten-free buns. Many choices ....When I crave or used to crave something it was a sweet thing so I went for nuts & M&M's. And Idon't likechocolate!!!!! Peanut butter & nutrella..... Also there are many bakeries that you can find cupcakes,cookies...

I love sorghum but usually replace white rice or brown rice with some sorghum but I never replaced it for sweet rice flour...could that have been the problem? Also I never replace all the flour for sorghum. I think millet flour has an after taste so I sparingly use it. Plus its hard to get millet that is not contaminated...Some of us are not big fans... -

Go_picnic has things sorta like lunchables that are shelf stable & boxed.canned tuna, chicken, protein bars,jerky, nutrella,boxed mac& cheese,,,,rice cakes popcorn, rice bowls. Trader Joe's has rice bowls for $.99 very cheap & tasty our kids love them....raisins,dried beef, granola are things that come to mind.... Have a wondrful trip... -

You need to be100% , 365 days a year, no exceptions.......unless you are able to look inside your small intestin to see if any damage is taking place you may never know until its toooooo late. For many of usits just not worth the risk....you can buy packets of gluten-free soysauce & carry them with you.....plus gluten-free foods can be expensiveso... -

Sounds like another mainstream doctor who knows nothing about celiac or gluten sensitivity... there are tons of these . type doctors running loose & getting paid big bucks.......sorry ....I would not subject myself to scopes even monthly...I would either go gluten-free on my own or else find a doctor who knows about celiac... If you let us know where... -
Dr.Alessio Fasano is doing a study on this ..He has clients /patients that are not giving their children any gluten for the first two years of life. The study is new so h ecan't make a judgement call at present but down the road this study will make a difference.He's not sure if it will keep or help a child from developing celiac or if it will only prolong...

I'm a fighter & so are you .....I still have moments/days when I don't do well but I push on ... It seems life is just this way anymore...I have at least four autoimmune disorders &they just keep coming but I deal with them as they come...

You could be gluten sensitive & not have celiac, damage to your intestinal villi. Many of us have been dx'd with IBS before a celiac dx's or gluten sensitive ... You need to dispose of any used teflon, any scratched or pitted pots & pans, any porous surface things that were used with wheat . Rubber or plastic cooking utensils. Toaster or purchase toasta bags. Bread maker, hand mixer, griddle , cutting board, plastic strainer, food mill. plastic food storage that has used in a micro with wheat products heated... -
Being gluten-free is a learning process that will take time in learning but you need to go gluten-free totally like STOP all at once. The learning process will not happen overnight, I've been gluten-free for years & I learn something new everyday...New products , new research & so on ,its an ongoing process. It is very natural to mourn your loss...
