  1. My dr sent me to a rheumatologist. From what i understand rheumys are usually the ones who dx fibro.
  2. Thanks everyone, at least i figured this out before I married him, actually, this time i'm not all that upset over it. I tried making it work, I gave him my all, it wasn't meant to be. I have no regrets, time to move on.
  3. For those of you who have kept up with my posts. Well, I bet you won't be surprised to hear this but I kicked my SO out of my life again. He didn't really change. He just acted like it. He glutened and cc'd me several times but it was the condesending attitude and the control issues that went with it that did it. The "little bit can't hurt" to "making a...
  4. Gifree, I know about the long term memory. There is a lot of my childhood memories that I cannot remember. Am no where near as smart as you or some of the other people on this board. My short term memory was horendous at the time. Between the social anxiety disorder and the cognitive problems I dropped out of high school. There are still days when I get my...
  5. Hey Jess, that happened to me on new years day. I thought I was having a heart attack. Heart palpatations, dizziness, nausea, chest pain, left arm want numb, hardly able to breathe. I posted about it back then. Anyway was in the er for about 4 hours. They did every test imagineable but nothing was wrong. Until I mentioned something about being gluten free...
  6. Hey Sickchick, I was in the same boat as you so to speak. Felt like I was dying. I went ahead and tried the diet anyway because with my thinking later on in a few months or in a few years when i'm at the point I have ins I could do the gluten challenge and get tested. Best thing I ever done AND I told my family and friends that I had a positive diagnosis...
  7. Well, that explains it, darn it! I was having reactions to it and I just couldn't figure out why. Is that for all Blue Diamond liquid products?
  8. I was finally dx'd with fibro 2 years ago, at the age of 44, after having fibro symptoms since I was 8 years old. Went gluten free about 4 months after that. My pain and fatigue eased some but it was when i eliminated the nightshade veggies and soy that it greatly reduced but i'm sorry to say that it han't gone completely away. but i have gone from a pain...
  9. I don't have the constant bleeding, but i do have heavy painful periods due to endometriosis. Don't have ins or the money for surgery so I just have to deal with it. I had the test that shows i inherited this from both sides of my family. My mother is 69 years old and she has all the symptoms of celiac. But she refuses to go gluten free or get tested even...
  10. Hi Krishna, I agree with everything the other poster said. Those sugar cravings hit me bad about 6 weeks in and it really worried me. I needed, not wanted, something chocolately every single day. I got me some hershey kisses and every day I would eat about 3 or 4 a day. That lasted about 6 to 8 weeks and then one morning I woke up and the craving weren"t...
  11. He Cool, I understand you wanting to wait until you get your test results but I can tell you that sometimes there will be nothing showing on tests and the food will still make you sick. Soy and dairy as well as gluten give me depression. I can have just 1 piece of cheese and I will get depression symptoms within 24 hours. I know that for a fact because...
  12. I toatally agree, if not for the seasoned pros on here, i would still be floundering out here making myself sick and miserable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  13. I had depression and social anxiety disorder for over 30 years. Meds helped some but never cured it. 6 months gluten free and it all went away. Haven't had meds for close to a year and a half. The only time I get an anxiety attack or depression is when I get glutened and or dairy or soy. They all bring it on.
  14. Hi Echarias, Sorry you are feeling so bad. Those withdrawals are the pits aren't they? First off, try drinking a lot of water, that flushes your system out. Take some pepto if you can if you have tummy upset or you're nauseous. Other than that, all you can do is ride it out. Also, for some of us dairy makes it all worse too. Kick dairy out for...
  15. Hi Echarias, welcome to the group. I definetly know where your coming from. I've been sick most of my life. Starting at about the age of 8. After being told, "it's all in my head", "You have depression", "you just need to get up and move more", as well as a lot of other things. I had 7 miscarriages in 5 years and an awful pregnancy, toxemia, you name it...
  16. Hi There, well to start off you could still be having withdrawals but then a gain it might be dairy, or soy. Just a suggestion, I would drop the dairy and possibly soy for a couple of weeks then add it back in. The tingling in your hands may be a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Anyway, just a thought.
  17. The potatoe comes from the nightshade family. The plants were found to have toxins in them that were used as poisons back in the dark ages. For some of us we react to those toxins. For me it causes my arthritis to flare. Causes inflamation and swelling in my joints as well as a lot of bone pain along with stomach upset and just a general unwell feeling. The...
  18. I'm #74, you'd think with over 30,000 people on this site we'd have a lot more signatures than this. Kinda disapointing.
  19. I can definetly relate. I was dx'd with social anxiety disorder in elementary school, jumped at all loud noises. Constantly telling every one "i'm sorry" because I was constantly worrying that I had made somebody mad. Dx'd with clinical depression when I was 8. It wasn't until 6 months after going gluten free at the age of 45 that I am no longer depressed...
  20. Lol, yes he is, but I have to give him credit he is trying but bless his heart he is still having trouble understanding the cross contamination thing.
  21. Hey Kareng, Thanks for asking. Doin pretty good so far, the smoking is bothering me some and he's trying to slow down at least. He's gone from 4 packs a day down to about 2 and a half. He tried to stay gluten free and he made it for 3 and a half weeks but now for the last week he's been eating gluten out of the truck. He's been good about washing his hands...
  22. I was doing some research on the ingredients of what's in some cigarettes and I came across this. It dosen't have any wheat that I can see but it does have a lot of othere things that a lot of us with other food intolerances react to. This was last updated in 08, things might have changed since then. Hope you can understand it. Product Ingredients...
  23. Hi Sue, I have fibro and rhuematoid arthritis. It wasn't until I cut out soy, dairy, nightshades and aspertame that I finally started getting some relief from the pain and fatigue. The nightshades which are (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and all bell peppers. They have mild toxins in them and us with fibro and all forms of arthritis can't handle these toxins...
  24. Oh boy, when I accidently get glutened, I become the snarly witch bit*h as my sweetie calls me. I snap at the least provacation, feel loopy, like my head is full of mud and just feel this incredible tensness like my body is about to lock up on me. That lasts for about 24 hours.
  25. , I know what you mean about the refrigerator! It's even better at a year and a half!
