  1. Its your site, right? Can you just delete it? Maybe post that you will not tolerate rudeness and blatantly incorrect information.
  2. I always plan to make about a thousand things for a party and run out of time and only make 998 of them.
  3. More help! Anyone make a raspberry sauce. Like they put with chocolate cake? I could make it with frozen raspberries if that is cheaper than fresh.
  4. The good news is, there is a good chance there was no gluten in them. If there is, it will be very very very small amount. Ingredients Ingredients: Sugar, Glucose-Fructose (from wheat and/or corn), Milk ingredients, Cocoa Butter, Unsweetened Chocolate, Modified Palm and Palm Kernel Oil, Lactose, Soya Lecithin, Polyglycerol Polyricinoleate, Salt, Artificial...
  5. What candy was this? Just want to avoid it myself. I haven't found a difference in the ingredients between most full size and smaller sized candy bars. But I have noticed the little tiny ones, that aren't really bars, - more of a round thingy, seem to have different ingredients.
  6. Just a heads up - This thread started in 2009. Product info discussed may have changed in that amount of time.
  7. Drink some water and go to bed. If you have a reaction...then you will. just sitting around waiting for it and worrying , makes it worse. If it wakes you up in a few hours, well.... At least you got a couple of hours of sleep.
  8. You know..... Unless the minis said they contain gluten.....I wouldn't spend my time worrying and making myself sick. Just because a company won't say something is gluten-free, doesn't mean it has gluten. It just means they ran it by a lawyer.
  9. I always think that it would be easier if we had someone to feed us - like the dog does. Just the right amount of Wife Food for optimum nutrition, weight control and a shiny coat.
  10. I do too. You could be a big help!
  11. Saturday night! Come! I have a recipe for whipped cream with cinnamon and bourbon(?) . That would be good with pumpkin bread. Or molasses cookies.
  12. Both and vodka in the original recipe.......
  13. There are so many good jokes with a dip party. Maybe I will try to make a grand Marnier cream and some boozy choc pudding . Then dip the brownies and strawberries
  14. I don't know any gluten-free white cake that really tastes regular enough. Can you make whipped cream ahead? Without having to re- whip it? I have a boozy chocolate pudding. That might make a good dip.
  15. I have never seen a bacon with gluten. Just read the ingredients.
  16. Read the what's for dinner thread for many ideas. FYI - you need to use gluten-free oats as regular oats, due to growing, harvesting and processing issues, have wheat in them.
  17. Lactose intolerance is common for unhealed Celiacs. Celiac damages the villi in the small intestines. These villi help us digest the lactose in milk products. Not all milk products have a lot of lactose. You can google that on a reputable site like Mayo and find out which foods. Many times, after a few months, you will be able to digest lactose, again...
  18. I boil my sweet potato for about five minutes first.
  19. You could print this to show the idiot what the standard of care is. If it were me, I would just ask my regular doctor to test it according to these guidelines. That is what I do. Open Original Shared Link How often should follow-up testing occur? New celiacs should receive follow-up testing twice in the first year after their diagnosis. The first appointment...
  20. So....we are having an appreciation party for the parents and mentors that help constantly with robotics. I have decided to make it a " Dip Party". ( a "dip" - an individual who displays exceptional qualities of utter stupidity and lack of common sense). I'm going to get hummus - a local guy makes it & it save me making everything. I'll make...
  21. I don't know where you live. If you live in a bigger city, you might do better because there are more people to buy. However, in most of the US, if you want to sell in retail (like Whole Foods & sometimes even Farmer's markets/Flea markets) you must use a commercial kitchen. Sometimes you can get your home kitchen inspected and approved. Bigger cities...
  22. You should really have several sizes.
  23. If you don't have an issue with oats, why would oat cc bother you? You are saying that there is oats floating around and getting on everything. But you eat oats in the granola, so what does a little gluten-free oat cc matter to you? If a little oat cc is important to you, you shouldn't be eating oats in the granola. Many people do well with Kind products...
  24. Stool tests don't test for things like celiac or food intolerances. There really are no recognized ests for food intolerances. Open Original Shared Link
  25. Welcome. Are you just suggesting a topic for the chats? Or did you have a question? If you have some specific questions, you might want to make a new thread - maybe the post-dx section?
