  3. Fine...I just like to use a little common sense. It's dug out of the ground and the machinery, trucks, etc wouldn't be suited for wheat. So...I guess you would need to call the companies and the mining facilities. I doubt any companies go to the expense of testing them for gluten. Any that say they are gluten-free will be saying that because they don...
  4. So....how would a rock get cross contaminated? I think you are making this harder on yourself than you need to. But, I guess you need to call the companies.
  5. I'm not going to argue the lack of scientific evidence for this " flush" but....why would Epsom salts have gluten? Isn't it just Magnesium & sulfate out of the ground?
  6. I haven't found any popcorn with gluten. However, I don't buy the " flavors" so I don't know. Just read the labels.
  7. Anyone else reading this thread: Please note that the product info is 5 years old. Ingredients change. We have current threads about chips.
  8. It has to be gluten-free oatmeal. It will say it on the package. Oats use the same fields, farm equipment, silos, etc as wheat. So unless the oats are certified gluten-free, don't eat it.
  9. We like Newman's own marinara but most are gluten-free. It about $2 at target or Walmart and close to $4 at the grocery. There might be one that has wheat, but I haven't found it. I found its too hard to make both gluten-free and regular pasta at once. Trying to keep the spoons separate, the colanders separate....it was too much work and anxiety. We...
  10. I'm surprised you don't use a mechanical dishwasher (Not a human one). Colorado State seems to do a good job with gluten free food. Maybe you could ask them about their procedures? I know that at the Deli sandwich counter - they have a purple box with the gluten-free tools in it. They get out a big mat and put it down then paper then get the gluten-free...
  11. If you want to put the doctor's name and/or hospital on here, its OK.
  12. No. Oatmeal is an exception. It must say gluten-free. It's just one of those odd things. However, because a significant percentage of Celiacs react to gluten-free oat, it is recommended that you do not eat them until 6 -12 months gluten-free. Then add them back and see how you do.
  13. Good ideas! When my boys were young, they didn't want water. They wanted Gatorade or juice. They loved putting a little lemon or lime juice in the water. Maybe you would like that? I will look for this true lemon stuff!
  14. I assume you will provide us with reliable sources, per forum rules, to support this?
  15. Do they count as a vegetable?
  16. There could be flour in chili or taco seasoning. A few of them have flour and its labelled in the inbredients. i like Williams brand.
  17. What is the sugar substitute? I think thePowerade Zero has sucralose. I do well with it but some of the other sweeteners, not so good. Maybe that is the problem? They are gluten free as far as I have seen by looking at ingredients .
  18. I do too.....but I think this one may not end well for the " plump little meat chicken".
  19. We like to blame everything on gluten, but maybe some of your issues have nothing to do with gluten? Something we all need to remember. Ways to add calories - oil. If you eat a hamburger - get the full fat versions. Add a little olive oil to a cooked veg or chicken. Eat high Calories foods like avocado and coconut. Bacon? I know its not heart healthy...
  20. Hey! They both have 4 legs. long skinny faces, big ears & big long black tongues!
  21. The pie crust doesn't have tapioca. I am going to try it for something, probably not pie.
  22. I wasn't answering you - I quoted the new person, Monnie. She seemed to need a little info.
  23. The buffalo ones just tasty vinegary to me. I liked the plain cheese ones....very cheesy.
  24. Little tiny chunks of cheese. I put my comments on the bacon thread with the "recipe" the Pillsbury dough was just in the regular grocery with all the other refrigerated Pillsbury doughs. I would have missed it but I was thinking about getting the boys a can of rolls. The pizza dough is mainly tapioca so its chewy. Worked well for the little balls...
  25. On the website for the juice it says all their juices are gluten-free. So I gave him the link.
