  1. I know you had a baby not long ago. Could some of this be from hormones? They took about 6-7 months for me to get back to normal - I wasn't breast feeding. I think it takes a few months after you stop breast feeding. Just one more thing to think about?
  2. I can't tell on my iPad...who made this video?

    ARCHIVED Dentist-gluten-free-Nyc

I have not found any dental products used in the dentist office to contain gluten. Unless you are looking for one that eats gluten-free?
  4. That link is just confusing. It is a link to a group that wants to make money off of people with Celiac. It is not " scientific" . Corn and rice are safe. Foods that are tested below 20 ppm ( many certified gluten-free foods in the Us are actually tested at 10 parts per million or less) do not necessarily contain 19 ppm of gluten or 5 ppm. They may...

  6. If you have been gluten free, an endo won't diagnosis you with Celiac. You need to be eating gluten, making antibodies and destroying your intestines to get a positive biopsy.
  7. here are some threads that might help you. https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/91878-newbie-info-101/ https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/75238-the-whats-for-dinner-tonight-chat/ https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/102778-please-helplunch-ideasi-need-them/#entry878588 https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/87765-what-did-you-have-for-lunch...
  8. I suppose they could lie about their testing for gluten or the fact that there is no gluten in their products.... Not sure why a large and reputable company would want to do that? Maybe some of these " iffy" Internet " supplements"?
  9. Open Original Shared Link Also...the air exhaust in these places is better than any home as they have to suck airborne particle out of the air quickly for the safety of the employees.
  10. Something odd happened and a few people who had blogs, can't post anymore. New people seem to be able to. My personal opinion is that some gluten got to the hamsters that run the main system and they have never been right since. :(
  11. Sorry I was so abrupt. I got a call to go to the hospital when I was typing. Anyway....if you have been off gluten for 9 months, it isn't likely there will be any Celiac type damage found in the small intestines. What I was trying to say is the gluten-free diet might not have any effect on gastritis.
  12. Maybe read up about gastritis. Ask what you should do about it. Did he biopsy the stomach to check for things listed in the link? Open Original Shared Link For the Celiac portion - ask why he thinks its negative or positive. Make sure you understand his explanation. Get a copy of the path reports
  13. Read the dinner and lunch threads. There are lots of things to eat! This might be helpful: https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/91878-newbie-info-101/
  14. You might want to get a copy and look for yourself. Make sure there are even any Celiac tests on it. Can't tell you how many people come on here and say " the doc said my Celiac panel was negative" but find out they didn't have one or the doc ignored the positive, etc
  15. Why not get tested for Celiac? Instead of just guessing ? You have some of the symptoms. Have they tested your thyroid? Iron, Vit D, B12, etc? Those deficiencies can cause fatigue and vitamin deficiencies are symptoms of Celiac Open Original Shared Link
  16. Kettle corn hot from the big cauldron! ( appetizer?) Salmon on the grill with a grilled pineapple salsa, asparagus & some cheesy, roasted garlicy mashed potato thingy. Maybe piña coladas for dessert? Boys working until about 2 a.m
  17. Those iron pills can be hard to take. I would wait until Monday and insist on talking to the doc. How low are they really? Is he looking for a reason they are that low? Extra heavy periods, ulcer, etc. Google lists of iron rich foods and start eating them. Add a B12 under the tongue. Do not eat iron rich foods with calcium. Skip your glasses of...
  18. If they clearly labelled " wheat" as an ingredient.....I don't think it's the companies fault if you have been using them. You just have to get into the habit of reading ingredients.
  19. I think it is like " Mommy" said. You wouldn't want to mess up every day or even every week. Its OK to make some honest mistakes, especially in the first couple of months as you are learning. Open Original Shared Link "Do I need to have a follow-up test each time I get glutened? Follow-up tests are intended to test whether there’s significant (...
  20. Won't it be hard to eat gluten-free in the military? MREs seem to have a lot of the calories coming from gluten. Something to think about: I would worry that you might not be feeling as good as possible while in dangerous situations. People's lives may be depending on you. If you have Celiac and are eating some gluten, it will get worse as the months...
  21. I know some people have had success with their own fermented foods. I would be careful of the products this site wants to sell you. One is made with wheat that they claim is "digested". Not sure how they know there is no gluten in it or if I would trust that they have any clue about gluten content.
  22. I don't know why it didn't work. I messaged her. If you get a message back, you have 24? 48? Hours to edit this and take your email off, if you want to. I never remember how long.
  23. We were talking about Epsom salts baths in yoga. A couple people said they like it half strength.
  24. Not surprising that alcohol is not allowed in a restrictive diet meant to help people heal from an ailment. That is just normal for many of those type of diets.
