  1. I'm going to look for that! Does it say what they are filled with? Not really worried about the filling but ...curious.
  2. Naw...Threads fall off the main screen after a few days of no answers. Filling one with cheap rice works well if you just want it to stay in one place as they are heavy. My boys liked to put their legs on top of them in bed when they had " growing pains". I would hear the microwave" Bing" in the middle of the night.
  3. Going to try to make a sour dough starter. Not the same one that was just posted on C.com .
  4. My neighbor makes " mashed potatoes" with cauliflower & cheese. Her little grandson loves it and everyone eats it.
  5. I would like that. I sometimes add some frozen zuc to stuff for me. I can "hide" it in a few recipes. In the crockpot, if you cut it small, it cooks to mush.
  6. She liked it and her teen son liked it. It isn't low cal because its still full of cheese in her recipe. I'm looking thru my recipes for a moz stick one I have misplaced. If I see that, I'll post it so you can see if its the same.
  7. Do you just boil strips of zucchini like a pasta noodle? My SIL might like this. Maybe she should offer that in her " healthy" restaurant . She is diabetic and has to watch the carbs. She makes pizza with a cauliflower/ cheese crust.
  8. January has 31 days, so the 2 nd might be correct? I will be posting about cheese laden dinners every day in January ( whether we are eating them or not!).
  9. Here is the recent discussion about that
  10. Right...so used to typing " wheat".... My fingers just did it. And are the w. sauces made with malt vinegar in NZ, too?
  11. I thought it was funny!
  12. If you are trying to say that the presence of soy makes a product NOT gluten free, that is not correct. Some people have a problem with soy but soy does not contain gluten. some people have a problem with other foods, that does not mean the food contains gluten. Please provide reputable sources for these " studies" you are citing.
  13. Lea and Perrins on the US is gluten-free. I think I have heard it is not in Canada and the UK. I believe we decided here that most worch. Sauce in Canada and the Uk is made with wheat.
  14. Question for the Bacon Jam aficionados - Is it best hot, straight from the crockpot? Or cooled? Or do you re- heat it?
  15. I have gotten them at Target and Hen House, maybe Walmart. They are usually with the regular cereal but not always next to the regular Krispies. Depends on the store.
  16. It would be very odd to have gluten in a coffee processing plant. It's possible a restaurant chain might have some cc issues going on in the kitchen. There are a few teas which are " malted" but most are fine, too.
  17. No most Celiac, as well as most people, can tolerate them just fine. There are a few people that can't. Do you have Celiac? Or an allergy to wheat? They are 2 different things. If you are allergic to corn or soy, it it possibly an ingredient in the hummus? If you are eating a small variety of foods, perhaps you need some vitamins? Have they...
  18. I was thinking that, too! I need some serious help! I can't stop eating peanut brittle!
  19. You are responding to a 4 year old thread, FYI. These posters haven't been around in awhile.
  20. You could go back and edit it. You typed before the final [. Quote ]
  21. Read the ingredients. I have not found a brand with gluten.
  22. I thought the chocolate helped. Also, Excederin or Target generic ( says gluten-free on label). Excederin is aspirin, Tylenol and caffiene.
  23. No. All the Celiac organizations recommend gluten-free oatmeal. In fact, it is usually recommended that a person with Celiac not eat oatmeal for at least 6 months as a small percentage react to it like gluten. There is no law in the US that forces a company to say if something may accidentally have a gluten ingredient in it. If they add wheat, they...
  24. In the US, it is illegal to not label the wheat. If it were wheat, it would say starch ( wheat) or something like that. I'm sorry that the soda made you feel bad, but it was not gluten.
  25. Which glues? Maybe wallpaper paste but most normal glues like Elmer's, don't contain wheat
