  1. There is something about that website that keeps shutting my iPad down! I was able to read a bit. I do have lots of old tshirts that could be recycled.
  2. This might be helpful for others, but the original poster went skiing in 2008. She probably hasn't been on is site in a few years.
  3. The meatballs my son likes are not gluten-free. Ok for him, not for me. They say they are made with beef, pork & Romano cheese. I might try Peter's recipe with some ground turkey Italian sausage , beef, Romano for part of the bread crumbs & some gluten-free bread crumbs.
  4. Many times, they are the same. But read the ingredients because sometimes " wheat free" can still have barley (malt) or spelt ( a form of wheat) in it. Sometimes they say " wheat free" because they don't test for gluten but they don't use any gluten in the product. It gets easier with practice. Really! It does!
  5. We'll have to get someone who knows better than me, but ....I think that until you have made 10 entries, you are still considered new and cannot make blogs. We had people signing up, not posting anything in the forum, then posting dirty and/ or spammy blogs ( some complete with pictures) To protect us from this, we have to "get to know you" a bit.
  6. Sorry! This all sucks! Did they test for Lyme like one person suggested? I agree with GFM. Write down your questions. Make 4 more copies of the labs and whatever other tests you were given. Put one away in a safe place, take one copy for each doc you see (in case they didn't get them), take one copy for you to look at at the doctors office. Highlight...
  7. Poor Al! He must be feeling like a pin cushion. Do young people even know what a pin cushion is these days? Hopefully, Judy will be seeing clearly soon.
  8. Thanks for putting your updates on here, too, so I can see them! Glad you're finding some fun!
  9. That's Ozarks food! Really safest if it's fresh roadkill. I imagine the possibility of cc is small unless it was involved in an accident with the Bud Light or Hostess Snack Cakes trucks. Open Original Shared Link These recipes appear to be for corn- fed, farm raised possum so you might want to marinate first?
  10. That's too funny! We will be expecting a great avatar, given your credentials!
  11. I can think of 3 reasons that doc can't use the hospital : He has done something ( probably many somethings) that have led him to be banned or restricted until a hearing He has lost his malpractice insurance He has some sort of financial/ business relationship with them that is in negotiations. I would ask if he could help you get another doc...
  12. George- You said you eat alot of refried beans. If I cut you open, would I find refried beans? No of course not. Your body processes it & turns it to hair, muscle, fat, etc. Same with animals if they are fed wheat. Also, the animals have different digestive systems than we do. for example, a cow is able to process large amounts of grass. If humans...
  13. Might be too late this year, but some wineries let you help with the harvest in exchange for wine. In KS, Costco & TJ's can't sell wine. Strange Liquour laws here. We get Oregon or Washington state wine for our Xmas gift from my bro who lives in Oregon. Maybe Santa might bring you some?
  14. Case discounts on wine Date guys who will pay Show up at friend's houses at dinner time
  15. Never heard of them. Did you check the ingredients? The company website?
  16. I used to have this but not very often in recent years. There was a commercial cleaning solution that would do that to me. I think it's not used much anymore.
  17. Cheese is not coated with wheat. sometimes corn starch but wheat would get sticky and make the cheese stick together. If you have cooked stuff on the grill that had gluten, that could certainly be a problem. Ketchup has vinegar in it. It should be gluten-free but I find vinegar to be irritating to the stomach. The villi tips in the small intestines...
  18. Please remember that not everything is about gluten. Let the doctor's look for other illnesses. Hope you find something out & he is feeling better soon.
  19. I would only do a buffet if everything on it was gluten-free. People always take the spoon from the green beans (gluten-free) and use it to scoop up croutons then stick it back in the green beans. Or drop a piece of pasta in something.
  20. I think cc could be an issue with cut in the deli. Ask your store if they cut any other brands. Some have said that their stores have Boars Head only slicers. Some will take an " order" and cut yours first thing in the morning ( cleaned at night) and hold for you. Some of the BH brand can be found pre- cut by BH and packaged.
  21. I saw something saying that Starbucks was going to a light Frap mix that was gluten-free. I cannot find where I saw this. I didn't repost because I think it was a response to someone elses inquiry so I can't verify. Maybe you would like to email Starbucks. In the US, they don't want to say anything is gluten free but they seemed to say it had no gluten...
  22. I know someone who had a young cat with all kinds of medical problems that resolved when she put the cat on gluten-free food. We have had discussions about this before, but cats weren't meant to eat much or any grain. Glad the kitty can have some fun!
  23. No colanders that were used for any gluteny pasta! You just can't get those little holes clean! That's the point of all these " replacements". Anything that is porous, has little cracks, crevices, screw hole, etc where particles can lurk needs to be replaced. I replaced the Tupperware type stuff because. I didn't feel I could clean it well enough. I...
  24. That's a great price! Where else could we fly for $99 that would be more fun? Wait a minute.......am I going to get a call to pick up a package at the Alaska airlines counter? Are you sending Max?
