  1. That's pretty! Yeah...don't put thier names on permanently. They may always be Max and Maddie to you, even when they have changed thier names to Maximus the Magnificant or Esmeralda the Wiccan Goddess.
  2. Cause I'm sure he does all those chores? What is the tat going to be? I have thought of getting that no gluten symbol. The wheat stalk with the red line across it.
  3. That sounds better. Force yourself to drink alot of water. Dehydration can cause alot of pains. See if they mostly go away after you have had alot of water, juice, Sprite, gatorade, etc. If you are nauseous, suck on little pieces of ice or little pieces of popsicles. Sometimes a little sugar helps the nausea. Don't be afraid to go back to the hospital...
  4. He does his own laundry? He never leaves it in the dryer more than a few minutes? He cleans the bathroom he uses and vacuums or cleans the floor he has stepped on? He cleans the dishes he uses, including the ones he uses to get his food from? Not sure what your problem is!
  5. This was pretty much my motto, except I didn't work. Post a pic of the tat.
  6. Just to let you know, colonoscopy does not test for Celiac. You need an endoscopy with at least 6 biopsies.
  7. The original posts were in 2007. The gluten info may be different today.
  8. Please note: any product information in these post are almost 6 years old. Product ingredients may have changed since then
  9. This is a really old thread. Product info may have changed. The original posters likely haven't been on this sight in years.

OH! That's a big party! When I invite a lot, I just have enough for everyone I invited. I just make sure its something we like to have for left-overs. We had a Xmas cocktail party last year & ate left-over cheese everyday for 2 weeks. The truffles froze well & we ate them thru January!
  11. I just saw your recipe for the cheeseburger soup and thought, "I bet that person who wants a cheesy chicken casserole could adapt that!" What if you used the Velveeta and chicken broth to replace your cheddar soup. Velveeta is gluten-free?
  12. Freezing some of your food keeps the rest cold in your cooler, without the mess of ice.
  13. I think we make up a few words on this forum: Glutenous Glutiginous Glutenateor My son used to call cookies " coochies" A " Goo rag" - the cloth diaper you put on shoulder so a baby can " goo" on it.
  14. I think you are probably 3 1/2 to 4 months? I'm going to be blunt. Probably not ectopic but if you are dizzy, & in that much pain... There are a lot of really awful things it could be. Your baby's heart beat could be fine, but it's you who are in trouble. If you die, they usually can't keep you alive long enough for the baby. Unless you...
  15. That's a CYA for a large A. I think it's just chocolate milk, it's probbly fine. could you go up to school before lunch & read the ingredients? That being said....I think I know someone who works for this company. I'll check and let you know if that's the case.
  16. This is no where near normal! It is life threatening to you, not just the baby! You must call an ambulance now! The hospital will work with Medicaid to get paid. Public hospitals have money set aside for pregnancy emergencies!
  17. I probably wouldn't use it if it's got places for the dough to hide. You could run a few batches of gluten-free noodles thru & see if it clears the old gluten out. Can you put vinegar down in the cracks, use pins to get the softened flour out? I'm not familiar with this attachment so I don't know how it looks.

Its tricky. Some people around here think it means to call if you can't come (regrets only). Also, if son delivered them at school, you might want to check that the kids actually got them, put them in the backpack, got them out of the pack, etc. The difference in a party for 5 kids or 20 nkids is big. You could have a great party with 5 and plan some...
  19. I'm wondering how he gets glutened so much?
  20. History lesson for you youngins - Toaster bags were first marketed many years ago so college kids could reheat pizza in a toaster (before microwaves - dorms let us have toasters & many dorms had toaster caused fires). Open Original Shared Link You can sometimes get these at Health food stores & specialty kitchens shops as well as on-line. Make...
  21. I have a folding colander, s few cooking utensils, a couple of pans, a couple of the cutting mats. I take those when I travel. Also, toaster bags. Whether you use someone else's pans, etc depends on them. Some people are very clean. they would never measure flour than stick the dirty measuring cup in the sugar. They have aluminum or Caphalon type (not...
  22. https://www.celiac.com/articles/22680/1/Slightly-Higher-Tuberculosis-Risk-for-People-with-Celiac-Disease/Page1.html This was just posted. It says there is a slightly higher risk of TB in Celiac. Couldn't we have a slightly higher risk of winning the Lotto? Or being better at tennis? Something more useful?
  23. In the US, there are no laws about what can be labelled gluten-free. Some companies choose to label them gluten-free because they test them for gluten. Some label gluten-free because they have no gluten ingredients. Some don't label gluten-free but, you can see by the ingredients (like OJ) that they are gluten-free. There do seem to be some companies...
  24. TO me, that is a wonderfully thoughtful response. I would give that place a try at a not busy time. Where is this located?
  25. I have to think it might be something about the bar or food poisoning. Probably not the wine if it's just wine. You may never know. Something got me a few weeks back. Never have figured out what it could be. Welcome to the gluten free world!
