    ARCHIVED Constipation

I forgot about the membership--you have to have one to order I guess? My dh's mom has one, so we're part of that club. I take several of their supplements that are gluten-free--they are some that are not gluten-free though, like their Vit E for instance. They have a nice "Fibralgia" supplement--magnesium and malic acid. Hmmm, I can't remember what is...

    ARCHIVED Constipation

For the folks that asked about my beloved psyllim Carole, Berneses-- I have a put a link to the brand I now use below. I suppose there is a chance that if psylliums in the past haven't worked for you that this might not either...but I will endorse the product on the fact that myself, my husband and my sister in law were all taking other brands with undesireable...
  7. Carole- What page was that part you are speaking of? I've only just started the book... I will also stick with my gluten-free products. I just think it makes life simpler and safer in some areas too. I say why take chances with gluten inside or out when there are so many great products out there than don't use it?
  8. Bernadette--You have no idea how happy that makes me feel to hear it! I will continue to pray for sustained improvement! I have never tried the chreese stuff, I might have to give it a whirl sometime I used to do a pasta bake like that too... For me, adding good spices and other things like vegetables helps me replace cheese...or forget about it...
  9. I get Eukanuba Adult Weight Control for our cat: Open Original Shared Link No wheat, barley, rye or oats in ingredients. Treats I get locally from a pet bakery.

    ARCHIVED Amazing

It is amazing! Well, I guess the more people in here, the more people who will know out there!
  11. Yes, Bernadette--it is the same, no matter what it ends up in or in what amount. It is really good to hear from you again!! Have things continued to improve or at least stayed better ? What do you like to use your cheeses in? Just eating them plain or on pizza or ? Maybe I can try and help you find some alternative ideas that may make you miss cheese...
  12. Ha ha Vincent! My husband will love that!
  13. Ah peeps... I pretty much used to be obessed with them. But I love anything that dresses up differently for each holiday That site was hilarious! My favorite is low-pressure peeps. I'm surprised PETA hasn't tried to shut down their site and experiements yet
  14. Welcome here Kayla!
  15. I have it too. Haven't picked it up in a while, but it was helpful to me initially...
  16. Ditto on White Italian Tapioca

    ARCHIVED Ovarian Cyst

That's interesting too Deb… I hope and pray I may have "grown out" of my cysts. Guess I'll find out when I get off BC. My periods were pretty unbearable though--had to take painkillers. Which there was a 'natural' or diet alternative therapy for this problem....
  18. Nicole- Have you been formally diagnosed with celiac disease or gluten intolerance? Or did your rhemy suggest it based on symptoms? You haven't been trying to be gluten-free for very long...I wonder if you have been able to find some good products in that time? There are some great ones out that--delicious! As Christine said--Tinkyada pasta is great...

    ARCHIVED Ovarian Cyst

    Interesting! I didn't know that....
  20. Lactaid tabs and chewables are gluten-free. I don't do milk now b/c of casein intolerance...but back in the day, lactaid worked pretty well for my lactose intolerance. If you're unsure, just start with small amounts of dairy at first as a trial.
  21. PS fun fact: What is the difference between Potato Starch, Potato Starch Flour and Potato Flour? Potato Starch and Potato Starch Flour are the same thing. However Potato Starch (flour) and Potato flour are different. Potato Starch is a very fine flour with a bland taste, made from the starch of the potato. Potato flour is heavy with a definite potato...
  22. Yes, they are the same thing. But, as francelajoie mentions, in the case of potato starch/flour, those two are different. Strange word stuff... Enjoy those cookies!!
  23. Maltodextrin does not have to do with malt...it is a starch, and in the US must be made from corn or potato. So that is safe. I personally always ck on natural and artificial flavors...
  24. (We did Patti! Both sittin in front of our computers... Although I do that the whole day!)
  25. Wow! It is a small world...I have met quite a few other Celiacs that way. Found out at a Christmas party a sibling of a good friend has a daughter just diagnosed. Am going to connect with her. Crazy!
