    I was breastfed till I was about 2 y/o. My mom didn't intoduce wheat until I was about 1.5, since my family has allot of alleriges. I know I had celiac by the time I was 2.5.     There is an outback, just down the street on 38th also. As well as Marlene's market (health food store). They have some gluten-free goodies there. Which college are you looking at?     She told me, she had no idea that it could be bad for me. She was going under the advise of a Dr. and was trying to get me well. She feels terrible about it. I keep telling her it isn't her fault. Back then people didn't question Dr.s much. let alone get a second opinion.

    You are probably thinking along the same lines as me. I don't even know where to go from here. Should I try to see a neurologist? A Dr. who specializes in auto-immune diseases? I just don't know and I feel so helpless. Gawd I would love to give that man a piece of my mind.

    Sounds like DH to me. I never found any info about it leaving purple scars in my research, thats why I mention it. I was told it is about the only thing that would a scar like that after a rash. -Laurie

    I know in WA state, that there is tennant land lord laws that protect you from such things. You can actually refuse to pay your rent if it is uninhabitable. Check into something like that. -Laurie

    Why can't they just leave things alone. I read some where a few moths ago, that scientist are working on genetically altering wheat to make it have more gluten. Things like this will be the down fall of our civilization. -Laurie

    From what I understand the DH after it heals leaves a purpleish spot where the break out was. I found that out from the dermatologist. I thought my daughter had it, but supposedly it was eczema .
