  1. It is normal for your TSh to be low like that while on Armour. My doc says it is normal. Most typical docs would freak out, but don't listen. I work long distance with Dr. Gina Honeyman in Colorodo, and she works with my doctor at home. You can find her on the web by typing in her name I believe. Have you had your thyroid peroxidase antibodies checked...
  2. It is not quackery and can be very beneficial. I have read on here though that some people had some issues, maybe due to not being healed. Check around, I know there is a thread on here somewhere.
  3. Sound like you are on a really low carb restricted diet. It would be normal to lose weight. I was put on the candida diet that cut out a lot, and I lost 18 lbs in 2 months and I was normal weight to start with. Sounds like you need to eat more of what you can.
  4. Braggs is gluten free and since it is not fermented is good to use on a candida diet as well.

I have heard many good things about Threelac and Theralac on this sight. Look them up on the web.
  6. I have a box of Threelac, but am so afraid of the die off. Did you have die -off? If so, how did you deal with it? Did you cut out all sugars as well? I really want to use this, but am so nervous to feel worse.
  7. My co-workers son get anger from fructose.
  8. Dagoba chocolate and most Green and Black's Organic chocolate are gluten free. The dark is definitely gluten free and all Dagoba is too. You can get them at Whole Foods and other natural stores. EnviroKids makes some yummy cereals and Eerhown makes a good crispy rice cereal (make sure it says gluten free on front of the box.
  9. The test you should get is 25 (OH) D.
  10. What is normal is not the same as optimal. Optimal is 45-50 ng/ml or 115-128/nmol/l. Not sure why are two different ways to measure.

  13. I love the China Black Rice!!
  14. I was on this diet before going gluten free. I did not feel better and lost huge amounts of weight (which was not good since I was not overweight to begin with. But, I was also not gluten free yet either.
  15. I remember reading on this forum that a lot of people have had trouble with Red Mill flours. Cross contamination I think.
  16. The B-12 in a multi vitamin will do nothing. It is not easily absorbed. You need to take it sublingually under the tongue. It is very hard to get enough as a vegan and you are already dealing with damaged digestive system as well.
  17. Carlson's Cod liver oil is supposed to be the best way to get Vit D over the counter. Check out Mercola.com for information on this.
  18. Some people have intolerances to other grains as well. I feel funky if I eat too much corn or rice, a little is ok. I can't tolerate sorghum either. Since your new to this, you may want to stick to simple foods, like meat, veggies, a little fruit, and maybe brown rice if you can handle it.
  19. My B-12 levels were around 620, but I still wonder if it is ok. How do you find out if your body is utilizing it or not. How did you find someone to give you the shots when your levels were normal?
  20. I heard that Tropicana was not gluten free. In fact on kind of oj my mom had said malodextrin or something like that.
  21. I don't get sick, but I never feel quite right afterwards. Kind of woozy and tired and funky feeling. I have stopped eating them. I read on another thread that a lot of people have problems with them. I think there was concerns about contamination.
  22. Hi, Did you know that many people do not recover from hypo on Synthroid? It sounds to me like you are still having hypo symptoms. I urge you to look into taking Armour thyroid instead. It is a combo of T3 and T4 instead of T4 alone. Read Dr.Lowe.com and Stopthethyroidmadness. Get on some of the hypo threads to read more - especially info. from Georgie...
  23. i just used Badger Balm's 15 spf on my florida trip. Gluten free and no chemicals or yucky fragrances.
  24. You should read up on raw meats. This is very healthy. I have a friend who did it for a year and all their health problems disappeared. When they started adding cooked foods, the problems came back. There is lots of good info on the web about this. Yes it seems gross, but that is from our society creating that fear. I have not tried any raw meats or...
